But the new film, with the 3D, does make it feel different. I can ride it once, barely. Sometimes I have to close my eyes towards the end of the ride. Oddly, it doesn't bother my dd, who has tossed her cookies in my car more times than I can count.
The OP asked if it was rougher after the refurb, to which I addressed it has not physically changed. It is not rougher. Now it is possible the new movies could bother someone more now than they did before - I have vertigo and get nauseous fairly easily, and yet it does not bother me. I don't think one will know until they try it. If it begins to bother you close your eyes. But the OPs only question was concern about physical moving about in the simulator being rougher than before, no that is basically the same.
