By name, I think The Around the World menu been the last night menu for a long time, but the actual selections have changed very recently:

Now, dont' have any pictures of the actual selections off this menu. However, I have just as a decadent selection to show off, Neither us nor the Ohiomouse family went to Palo for dinner.. so a bit of Palo came to us!

Welp, off to enjoy the parks today, Have fun drooling over the menus.

We were just talking about that pineapple soup yesterday. You know, the "melted dole whip" soup.

As for the last night festivities...... *I* promised not to let the Internet people in our little secret. It might create a sense of entitlement.

I'd forgotten about the Dole Whip comparison, but yep, that's sure right on.



About the other.... Well.. Too late now, there it is. Not that I was paying all that much attention as (go ahead - gasp) neither it or the Lava Cake the night before are exactly my favorite desserts, I actually liked the Bread and Butter Pudding more.

Mary, just wondering, was your server Ivo from Croatia? He was our server on our Feb 2nd Magic cruise and we just adored him. We had a big table with 5 kids total and he was fantastic with the kids *and* the adults. His assistant at that time was Amy from Scotland--she was great too.

Actually here is a pic of "our" Ivo--wonder if he was your Ivo as well?

Ah...this is really getting me super excited for our trip through the canal. We had Hemant as a server back in May 2004, my MIL really liked him .

Who is the Captain on the Magic right now? Any word on whether he will stay for the panama trip?

Hi Mary and Mark,

Thanks again for all the tips and help while we were on the cruise. We had a wonderful time thanks to you and the other Disboard members. We booked another trip for Nov 28th, 2009, Western Caribbean while on board. I took close to 400 pictures on this trip and I have them available on snapfish for anyone who might be interested. Just send me your snapfishID and I will be more than happy to share them. I took some pictures of the carnival in St Maarten, pictures of many of the shows, the butterfly farm and many others. Looking forward to seeing you on a future trip.

captain on the Magic on this trip was Tom, cruise director Brent. Not sure if they will be staying for the Panama trip though, sorry!
