Was in Clearwater this week and saw a DCL bus!!!!

What a surprise!!!! I was driving down U.S. 19 in Clearwater, Fl, which is on the West coast of Florida (port Canaveral is on the East Coast)....being very depressed because I had to fly down and spend the week finding and placing my elderly aunt in an assisted living facility. Not a happy week. It's funny because I brought this same aunt on a DCL cruise last October...

I was thinking how nice it would be to be away again on a DCL cruise and all of a sudden coming down the other side of the highway was a DCL bus!!!! The bus was quite a ways from home....Can't figure out what it was doing there, but it was a sign I tell ya!!!!

It made my day a bit brighter!!!

Gee, amazing how such a small thing could change your outlook!!!

Hi The DCL buses are operated by Mears (the transport company). When they are not transporting passengers to and from DCL they are used by Mears for other trips. I remember the year that DCL first started I saw DCL buses all over the area especially near the convention center where I was attending a conference. The Magic had not begun sailing as yet and Mears was using the DCL buses for other trips, such as group runs to and from the convention center, trips to and from the airport and all hotels etc.
On Sundays, Thursdays and Saturdays the DCL buses are usually making the trips to and from the DCL terminal. On any other day they can be going anywhere. Makes for some good publicity, right?

I will not believe that that bus was on any other type of run. I believe it was there for you! Calling out to you to take another cruise. I believe in pixie dust and destiny. Call your TA today and book your next cruise. It was meant to be!!!

in February....while at Downtown Disney we saw TWO DCL busses!!

I knew they were operated by Mears but didn't realize Mears was all over Florida...I thought they were just Central and East Coast....it was a nice pick me up!!!

Time to book DCL cruise #11!!!
