It's a bit hard to tell in this picture but "the people" are President & Mrs. Ford. I didn't see Clinton "sleeping" but he did make some weird flicking rolling eye movement. I'm sure he wasn't too comfortable seated between Lynn Cheney and his wife.

He went on the South Beach diet in preparation for his book tour and has lost a lot of weight. Rumor is he may have had some Botox and/or work on his face as well.

OH PLEASE -- What typical Drudge nonsense. Since Betty and Gerald Ford are "sleeping," too, don't you think this might be during a prayer? I'd bet you that if you zoomed out, you'd find the Chaneys and Bushes "sleeping," too. I wouldn't be surprised if even Jimmy Carter was "sleeping."

I agree totally with Eeyore1954 -- pretty sad that Reagan's civility and courtesy died well before he did.

I am amazed that when someone uses the Washington Post as a source, the neo-cons whine like babies about what liberal trash the user is using to make a point and then they use that drudge crap along with Fox News and NewsMax as a "reliable unbiased sources".

Yes, this is what our beloved country is and has been headed for since the election of President Clinton in 1992. Anybody remember that Rash Limburgher guy. "America Held Hostage"? That's what heralded the end of a reasonable sociable exchange of ideas IMO. (I mean he can control them with "half my brain tied behind my back..."
