Was anyone able to pricematch at Walmart AND use a manuf. coupon?

They gave me the hardest time today when I tried to PM the Leapster games from the Target ad, and use my $5.00 off manufacturer coupon from a magazine. They were very nasty and said it's one or the other. Anyone have luck with this?

Sorry, when it comes to Price Matching I have always been under the impression that you just get the PM, not additional discounts using a coupon.

If its grocery products you get the price match plus any coupons, seems to me it should be the same with all products. But, I have never tried it.

Really? So then there is no point in purchasing a product at Walmart that you can get cheaper somewhere else with a manuf coupon and their sale price, is there?

My sisters store in MI allows it, and quite frankly I don't understand why it wouldn't be allowed as they are being reimbursed by the manuf.

Target wouldn't price match anything that had a time on it, even if it was within that time frame.

Toys R Us would not price adjust or take returns until after 1pm which I thought was ridiculous.

I price matched Star Wars figures with Meijer, and used the $5 off Star Wars coupon on top of it.

I'm in Northern Virginia: I did the same thing today. WM did PM Target's $15 price and after calling the manager, they honored my two $5 off manufacturer coupons and one $4 off for the Leapster games. Leapster games for $10 and 11 each --

Now Target would not give me TRUs item that was marked 50% off even though it had the price listed separately. They said as soon as they have the words "50% off" they will not match. I, too, tried to say, that it lists the exact price separately, but the manager wouldn't budge.

He also said Target doesn't honor doorbusters or limited quantity merchandise.
