To see Dolly's concert this past weekend?

DH and I were at the 2PM show on Saturday, and we loved it. I can't wait for the CD to come out.

We also tried some of the rides, especially the rapids water ride because someone here had recommended it, and it was GREAT! We usually just go for the shows.

I can't BELIEVE I missed DOLLY!!! We live about 1 1/2 hours away and got season's passes this summer--and for some reason I was in the mood to go this weekend, but we decided not to. NOW I KNOW MY INSTINCTS MY TRYING TO TELL ME GO SO I COULD SEE DOLLY!!!!!!

Was it recorded for a CD??

No, the CD will have Dolly singing with other artists on songs from the '60's and maybe the 50's. The songs will include Blowin in the Wind, If I Had a Hammer (Bob Dylan declined to sing with her), Crimson and Clover and more. I'm not sure if all of the show was the same as The Vintage Tour, but it was very good, and if the CD had been for sale, we would have bought one.

We had always tried to get tickets for her Dollywood concerts, but last year we decided that the only way to go was to get season passes and then buy when the tickets became available for passholders. It worked, and we'll be season passholders there now until we leave Ohio.

The weather was perfect for the harvest/music festival. Pigeon Forge must have cornered the market on all of the pumpkins and straw bales in Tennessee, it was beautifully decorated for the season.
