Here we go!

Snowfur: It was dawn, and Snowfur decided to go for a walk around the perimeter before everyone was awake. Maybe today, she would visit her friends.

Crookedclaw: The second the sun's rays touched the RiverClan camp, Crookedclaw was awake. She was in the center of the warriors den. She stood and picked her way through the other warriors, most of them fast asleep. Her blue eyes flashed with happiness as she reached the warm sun. She fluffed out her thick coat, letting air move through it. She then glanced at the leader's den- Leopardstar was probably still asleep, being the leader, she worked hard. She began issuing the morning patrols to the few cats that were now awake. As they were sent out, Crookedclaw patiently waited for the rest of the cats to awaken. Not everyone would be morning-cats. She had been one since she was a kit.

Snowfur: Snowfur came back and saw that Crookedclaw was awake. "Good morning, Crookedclaw! Looks like it will be a nice day!"

Crookedclaw: Crookedclaw looked up, ears erect and claws out. Then she relaxed. Just Snowfur. Settle down., she told herself. "Good morning, Snowfur," she said. "Yes, it looks like ti will be a fine day," she noted.

Sparrow: Sparrowpaw awoke in Skyclan's apprentice den. It was still early, so she tried to be quiet so the other apprentices could sleep as she quickly groomed her pelt and slipped outside into the morning. The weather was good today, and Sparrowpaw wondered what she would be doing with her mentor today.

OOC: How are mentors and apprentices going to work?

Crookedclaw: Crookedclaw looked up, ears erect and claws out. Then she relaxed. Just Snowfur. Settle down., she told herself. "Good morning, Snowfur," she said. "Yes, it looks like ti will be a fine day," she noted.

Snowfur: "Maybe we could go down to the river to catch some early breakfast fish?"

Crookedclaw: Crookedclaw glanced at the warriors den. She had sent enough patrols, a morning hunt wouldn't hurt. She nodded. "Sure," she said with a flick of her tail.

Crookedclaw: Crookedclaw followed Snowfur. When they reached the river, she lowered herself to make sure her shadow didn't touch the river, which would frightened the fish. She unsheathed her claws and narrowed her eyes, waiting to strike. A fish swam by... Lightning flash, she flicked her paw into the water and brought the fish up to the bank. she gave it a swift bite and it stilled. She thanked StarClan, then turned back to the river, eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

OOC What sort of territory are they in, the lake or the forest or a new territory?

And I forgot to mention this in Snowfur's signup, but she has a scar on her left shoulder from a previous battle.

OOC: They are in the same territory as in the books, Riverclan as a portion of land, with a river surrounding it, if that answers your question.

Snowfur: Snowfur always thought of Crookedclaw as the greatest fighter, besides Bluestar and Leopardstar.

OOC I mean which territory are they in? Lake or forest?

Crookedclaw: Usually Crookedclaw wasn't the best hunter, but she supposed she was lucky today. Sure enough, her second try, she barely missed the fish as her senses traveled to the border.

Sparrow: Watching the other cats run around, Sparrowpaw looked for her mentor but didn't spot him. Knowing that as an apprentice she couldn't eat until others had been fed first, she took some prey to the elders den and quietly left it for them, not wanting to wake any of the cranky elders.

OOC I have a windows as well; I just click the windows icon in the bottom right corner and it says search programs and files, and type in Snipping Tool and it should come up

Crookedclaw: Crookedclaw caught to more fish. She licked her claw and swiped it over her ear. "Are we done here? I'm sure the elders and queens will want breakfast."
