Hey My Warriors...
I am hanging in there on the wounded warriors list. I have not done any jogging, been wearing my compression sleeve, taking my naproxen, etc. Feeling a bit better. I see the PT on Tuesday so I will see how that goes. I walked 3 mile on Sat with a bike ride of 4.65miles. Basically I rode to the bike shop. I needed the kick stand adjusted, a new helmet and a silicone cover. They also put air in the tires.
Today was a nice steady 6 miles walking. Ice the shin and stretches.
Hope everyone else is hanging in there this summer.
Jeff - looks like you got all your stuff going there... can't wait to hear all about the event.

Wounded Warrior Tracy!! You're doing great by following the doc's instructions and will be out there training for Spacecoast in no time.

So this week (after only one run) I jumped to 8 miles. I was a very slow 8 miles in the heat, but at least I got it done and am back on track! Good thing this is just the beginning of training!
he warned me it was time to tackle my confidence, particularly around hills so we did 5.2 miles of rolling hills followed by hard last mile when averaged 7:30 pace
he is fab and just what i need.

So far she looks happy and her latest letter said that "on a scale of 1 to 10 her homesickness level is a 4."

Been out for 2 meals already this week- so it's a very good job i'm committed to a running programme!
