Good April Fools Day Warriors and welcome to April!!
Hopefully there won't be toom many shower for those who don't want them and showers for those who need them! :lmao:

Today I got up and went out for a 2miler. Now, I know that doesn't seem like much and doesn't beat Jeff's challenge (hehe) , but since I couldn't do my 4 miles last night and only did 3, I felt I needed to make it up.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Tracy

Hey Warriors!

Got out for 2.75 miles worth of speed drills last night to finish off the month. I don't have my March totals here at work, so I will post those later when I get home. Will be headed out for another group run tonight to start April off right!! ;)

Good morning (or afternoon on the east coast), Warriors!

I didn't get it in on the last thread, so I'm first going to say CONGRATS to Tracy on your PR and FIRST! and to Michelle on your 10K, even in some pretty horrible sounding conditions!

Go Warriors!

I finished off the month with a 3.5 mile in the rain; had trouble breathing, so I might try using my allergy medication. I don't normally have problems in Seattle, but it's worth a try. It is definitely that time of year.

Also, I'm off to Calgary in Canada for a long weekend, tomorrow. It's the first time I've been home since last August, so I'm kind of excited to see my family. Provided the sidewalks are clear (apparently it was snowing last night) on Sunday, my little (ok, he's 24 and a foot taller than me) brother is excited about coming along for my long run. My fiance has been put out by a knee injury since the WDW half marathon, so it'll be nice to have company other than the dog! I keep trying to convince my brother to come along to WDW in January 2010 for the marathon weekend, but it hasn't happened yet. Oh well, I'll have 10 miles on Sunday to work on him! :rotfl:

hey warrriors!

I am back from my trip! It was fun, but I am glad to be back to my FL sun. And unfortunately Miss Delena brought strep throat back with her. I did get in a few runs in over vacation and have put those on the spreadsheet. I expect my april numbers to be better, I kind of fell off the exercise wagon somewhat after my half marathon early in the month.

I have a 5k on saturday, Aflac iron girl 5K in clearwater, FL! Tech shirt, finisher's medal and an aflac talking duck to all participants!! what more could you want?? And it is run out near the beach, so pretty scenery too!

I hope all warriors are doing well!:hug:

I am doing the Zoomas womens half marathon this weekend on April 4th.

Hey lovely warriors.

Well nothing more to add to feb sorry- total as stands on spreadsheet 115.67miles 19hr 26mins. I just had a quick flick back to last years weekly totals that averaged 10miles... talk about finding ways to make youself feel good. Everyone should look back every once in a while and just take a min to see how much they've improved whether it's spreading out to new kinds of exercise, increasing time, or miles or managing to fit exercise in with new life demands- i'm thinking of you jen You've all done it!

Anyway back to today. 8.3miles- 74mins and 10 stretchy ones straight after. Added to spreadsheet. Slackened my laces around my toes and no pain so that was obviously it :thumbsup2

Sorry I didn't get to post this last night. I tried, but my internet was not cooperating! So here's my March totals: 86.2 miles / 14:30:57

Not as good as February, but there were two races in there!:thumbsup2

Started off April last night with 3.5 miles with the running group. Hoping to start training for my June sprint tri, so that should help bumg up my mileage!

Hi all!!! Life has taken over big time again, but I think of you all often adn miss you much!

I wanted to let you all know that I have asked Tracy to take over as Captain, seeing as she has done everythign for quite some time now. I will co-captain her and hope to be participating much more soon.

Taxes and the death of my PC are the root of the cause, but I'm thinkign i've had some mental trainign burn out too. Going to do my Matian Half USnday and tehn take 2 weeks off. Hoping that and the start of tri trianign will geret me going again. I think my pre-Princess post-marathon trainig schedule was just a bit much. Hoping so, at least.

Just wanted to let you knwo I haven't forgetten my warrior and I miss you all tons!

Hey kids-

I did 3 miles yesterday in the rain. I'm a bit of a klutz so I worried about running in the rain, but no mishaps. I did have to jump over a banana peel- seriously, wet streets and a random banana peel?! ;)

Today we have rain with thunder... I might be able to sneak out again, but it looks really dreary. My office has tinted windows so it actually looks like a tornado might swoop down at any moment... Then I walk down the hall and it just looks wet and yuck, but not like I need to crawl under my desk!

Happy April Warriors....sorry I have been MIA lately, but I got caught up with trying to buy a house, short trip to DL for my mom's birthday and just being a slacker I guess.

I finally updated the spread sheet for March...Tracy had to threaten to lash me with a wet noodle. LOL

I don't have any races on the books for April, but I hope to put in a few more miles than I did in March.

Congratulations Michelle on getting into the Nike Womens marathon!, that's such a fun race and you get a nice pretty blue box at the end of the race, handed to you on a silver tray by some cute guys in tuxes!

Hi Warriors! I'm here, I'm here!

Tracey--I am so sorry that I still haven't posted my miles and minutes for March. I will do so shortly and will update the totals for you. I just have LTO stuff going on. My youngest has a chronic illness which recently kicked into high gear, my husband is going through a major job change which will require him to travel all the time, and I am injured...AGAIN! However, I still have lots of miles and minutes worth posting.

Hi team! Sorry that I haven't been very vocal lately! But I AM here and I do think about you often!

Erika: It's all cool, just post those miles and times when you can!!

Mooshu: Glad I didn't have to get out the noodle!! haha:lmao:

Jen: Glad you didn't slip on that banana peel. It is kinda fun running/walking in the rain sometimes.

AFM: I got out to the Dump, Mount Trashmore and did 4 miles up and down and around the trail!! I put pictures on the weekly thread!

Tracy

Hey Warriors!

I was thinking about taking a day off yesterday because of the rain (bad enough flooding there's no school today)... then I remembered that giving money to the gym isn't just for fun, you can actually use their stuff! ;)So I hit the treadmill for 3 miles. Boring, but I was glad I got in the miles.

Have a good weekend everyone! I'll be eating a Fried Oreo at Swampfest...:rolleyes1

Thursday run:

8 1/4, 1:12:50. Legs felt good compared to the last few outings.

Happy Aloha Friday WISHers!

I've got Country Music Half on April 25.

This weekend is to be a 10 miler. I'm not sure I'll be doing it on TM if I cannot go outside. It was a rainy day here today, supposed to be dropping in temps these next days, but if it is dry, I'm out there.

Hey my Wonderful Warriors!!!!:goodvibes

Jen: Hoping you weather is working out for you. Fried Oreos?? hmmmm sounds interesting and would like to know more about it!!

Jeff: Hey Bro!! Nice job on the miles and GLAD to hear that you legs are not feeling tired anymore!:cool1:

Lily: Hoping you got your 10miler in and know it would be a relief to get R done!.

AMY and ROXY - sending good vibes your way for good races today!!! GO Warriors!!:woohoo: Double Miles!!! Don't forget to post race reports on the race report thread!!!

Marcie: Just wondering if you have all of your miles and times posted for March, I wasn't sure. Please let me know.

Erika: Hey there, if you just want to post you totals for March I can put them in for you.

WARRIORS: Looks like March times and miles were pretty close to February!! YEAH US!!:cheer2: Keep up the good work everyone and keeping us posted as to how your doing from time to time. You can share the downs along with the ups!:grouphug:

AFM: I went over to the Broadwalk along Hollywood Beach this morning. Was nice. Did about 3.6 miles and then add in about 15 min of some core work and arms. DOn't want to do too much that might affect my back shoulder area as I am trying to rest it. It really hasn't bothered me too much today but Thursday and Friday was bothering me alot. I guess just has to do with the motion that I use a lot at work UGH!!

Have a good Weekend Warriors!!:grouphug:

Racey Tracy (freckles)

Got my 10 miles in and although it is wayyyy slow as in I'd never make WDW event with this showing, I've put in the steps and it is ok for CMM. This back/hip/ankle junk I'm dealing with has really taken its toll on me.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Event Warriors, I'm looking forward to reading all about it. I've got to go check out the reports thread.

Happy Weekend Warriors ~

I actually got 6 slow miles in today. I got a deep tissue massage yesterday and boy did I get yelled at....seems that I need to stretch more and drink more water....That seems about par for how my body has been feeling lately. I was sore going out today from the massage last night, so hence the slow part. LOL

I'm glad to hear our miles in March are close to the miles in February. As the old saying goes...remember to drink before your thirsty and eat before your hungry.

Have a great Sunday everyone.
