I haven't personally had to use my warranty but I know somebody who did.

She called them, they emailed her a UPS label. She mailed the defective item in, they gave her a choice of receiving her money via a check or Paypal. She chose paypal and had the funds

Good Questions! I did not think of those, also I ordered my DS Touch from amazon so would the order email serve as the receipt?

My FIL had a camera warrantied from them. He bought it on ebay. The camera broke, they sent him a prepaid lable. He mailed it in. If it can be fixed they will fix it. With the camera they said it couldn't be fixed and gave him the money for it.

I recently bought a laptop from EBay and they sent me an email to cover it. The coverage was awesome, even included DROP insurance.
