I used Orlando Golf Cart Rental in October and had a bad experience.

The carts I had wouldn't hold a charge so we ended up with non-fuctional carts for four days.

My calls were returned sporadically and promised replacement carts didn't materialize.

I'm out $216 worth of services. My calls to get a refund have been ignored. The phone number 407-401-9045 "is no longer accepting calls". The website is now "unavailable".

Hopefully you paid with a credit card. Notify your credit card in writing that you want to dispute the charges and they will handle it.

You might want to post this on the camping boards if you haven't already done so. The campground is the only place that rental golf carts are used at Disney.

I would call your CC company and dispute the charges. I use my Amex for any kind of rental because their customer service is great when it comes to problems that the rental company can't or wont fix.

Thanks, my CCC is next but in the mean time I filed a complaint with the Central Florida Better Business Bureau and they accepted it and forwarded it to OGCR. We'll see if that works first.

You need to contact your credit card company next. It's great that you are warning others, but you WILL get your money back if you dispute it. Plus, if the number is out of service, maybe the company is gone already!? Then others wouldn't be renting from them anyway...

Anyway - I used to work at a bank (AND a cc company!) - call them right away and start the dispute - you will get all of your money back.

I would strongly suggest not waiting on the BB and filing a dispute with your CC. The BB can't "make" any business do anything. If the cart place is already ignoring customers calls, they most likely will do the same with BB. On the other hand, your CC can refund your money.

There are several posts on the Camping Board about Orlando Golf Carts - appears they are out of business and their location is closed and locked. You might contact other dissers who were caught out by this company.
