Warning...this is gross

My FIL eats his cornbread in milk in a clear glass. I can't stand to see him do it. Even after living 8 years in the South, I just don't see cornbread and milk ever needing to be mixed. DH on the other hand.....

My DH and his whole family love cornbread with buttermilk in a glass....buttermilk :crazy2:

:rotfl: Okay, I get the potatoe chips "on" the sandwich instead of on the side but WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE REST OF YOU PEOPLE? :earseek:

A friend of mine eats a "sandwich" of Ketchup between two chocolate chip cookies (homemade not store bought), of course he will eat ketchup on ANYTHING!
I personally love eating a bagel with cream cheese and bbq chips crushed in between..... heaven!

It could make a difference.

I eat rasberry jam on bacon-burgers. Got some friends to try it. 2 liked it, the others said I could keep it. Wife says I'm nuts. She's the one that married me so who is nuts?

That is gross, but here's a few from my strange family.

Peanut Butter on Tuna Fish
Strawberry Jam on Hot Dogs

So, don't feel bad there are many other strange people in the worlds!! :earboy2:

As a kid I used to eat peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches on white bread. I'd forgotten all about it until I read this post. My oh my, WHAT was I thinking?!

I didn't think it was as strange as the others but I like to eat miricle whip and peanut butter as a sandwich or on toast. I also like peanut butter and mustard. Also, if I have no cream cheese for my onion bagel, I'll top it with butter and mustard. Very tasty! Even my DS (7) loves that one.

When I was a kid, my cousin and I used to eat a sandwich of peanut butter with powdered unsweetened kool aid sprinkled on it. I don't do that one anymore...

Just thought of another. Anyone ever heard of or tried switchel? It is this gross drink that my dad used to make. My DB loved it (he was the only one!). He would drink this crap and then sneak up behind us and BREATHE! It would about knock you over.

This is the recipe:
2 c Sugar
1 c Molasses
1/4 c Cider vinegar
1 ts Ginger
1 ga Water

Mix sugar, molasses, vinegar and ginger in 1 quart
water; heat until dissolved. Add remaining water
and chill. Serve cold!

Any brave souls want to give it a try?
