Luckily my virus protection caught it. I've gotten two more of these emails. I sent them to stop-spoofing@amazon.com. I've also noticed some fraudulent charges on my credit card from Tilly's internet. I cancelled my card and requested a new one from Chase. Just wanted to warn others.

Dh and I have both received several of these types of Amazon emails this past week, including today! Thankfully I didn't click the attachment.

I've gotten 3 so far....the word "dispatched" tipped me off....it just didn't sound right.....besides all my amazon orders have already been delivered.

I've received two so far. I haven't ordered anything from them this year so I deleted them.

If I know I haven't placed an order with Amazon, no way am I going to open an email about an order that I supposedly placed.

Also, like a previous poster said, the word "dispatched" should clue you in immediately.

If you ordered from amazon.co.uk that word might not send up as many warning signals. (and I've ordered from .co.uk so it's not totally unheard of to order from a different country) But from .com, definitely yes.

Thank you for this heads up! I checked my mail right after reading this and sure enough, there was the phishing scam. It managed to bypass my spam folder.
