Had no problem waiting not too long nice lady.
Disney new rules are you must have your res# with you.
they will check that you are booked in a Disney Hotel.
if you have their dinning plan you can call 10 days ahead of everyone else.
I did not so had problems getting Canada could not get any dinners
lunch yes.

Hi,

To respectfully correct the post above me, your reservation number is not always needed.

Also, you do not need the Disney Dining Plan to take advantage of the 90+10 perk. Anyone staying on site can make ten days worth of ADRs on their 90th day.

Even if staying on property and calling for your 90 +10 you don't HAVE to have your res #. The new system makes it very easy to look up with your first & last name, resort and check in date!!

Wait, I'm confused.

I can call 100 days before my first day of my trip, or I can make up to ten days of reservations 90 days before my first day?

What day were you trying to get Le Cellier for - 7/14? Just curious how big was your party? I got 4pm for a party of 4 for 7/15. I too do not have the dining plan but was able to secure this adr.

Maybe you were lucky.
I could not make any ps's unlessI gave the girl the booking number or I would have to call back with it..
only telling you what happened to me. remember this is what I went thorugh she told me that this is Disney's new policy.
Maybe some get lucky I did not.
Has anyone else went throght what I did?????????????

We are a party of five told their was no opening for the 14, 15 & 16 of July.

I will say that I did have my confirmation # ready and gave it to the CM even before she asked for it. The reason for this was because I have a split stay and found out that I could only make the adr for the 1st 2 days with that confirmation #.
LeCellier is very small and has alot of tables that seem to be set up for four. A party of 5 would take up 2 tables leaving three seats empty, something they don't want to do, probably. I'm not saying that there are no sitting for five, just not many. Maybe try again tomorrow (for a party of six, please no flames). Good Luck!

I recently called to make my ADRs at 7:00am promptly on my 90 day opening. The cast member tried to tell me the first booking for CRT was at 5:00am. Seriously. And she didn't know about the My Disney Girl Perfectly Princess Tea Party and tried to book me for the regular Grand Floridian Tea even though I was reading it to her directly from Birnbaum's official guide.

Sometimes, you don't get the best help. That being said, most of the times I've called, they've been great.

maybe it is the person you get. because I was told I could book everyday I wanted if it was open. Did not have to call back each day.
We had one day it was a booking for 5 the next for 4 still no table,
We have been told that before they would split us up we said no problem we understand.
We did book lunch.
Really believe it is the perdson you get at Disney I was also told this is a new program.

thank you

I have gone thorugh what you did. I don't even call on the first day I can and am booked with DVC. I still had to give her my reservation number before we could proceeed. If I didn't have it I would have had to call back was what I was told. They also do not give you your confirmation numbers after each reservation they wait until the end and list them all off--I only had three so no biggie, but when I help my sister I will have all the information out in front of me before I make the call.

I am with DVC and made all my dining reservations through them. I didn't bother calling the WDW-DINE (the wait was too long). I am coming down the week of 7/12 and staying the whole week and did not have a problem getting the times I wanted, when I wanted it. If you are a member of the DVC, try
going through them.

Maybe you just need the res # if you are taking advantage of the 10+ that resort guests get. If you are booking withing the 90 days, they wouldn't need it because non-resort guests can book then and wouldn't have a res #. :confused3

OP, I think you may have gotten a CM who was trying to be difficult, or they were just grossly misinformed.

I called last week to make an ADR, and couldn't find my res# number because the DVC web site was down. All I had to do was give my name, the resort and the check-in date, and they were able to find it in the system.

you are so right it all depends on the Cm some are so nice and will try to help others forget it. Never was so surprise when she said need to have that hotel res # or call back later.

If you are calling to do the onsite perk for resort guests extra 10 day ADR's you need to be staying on site with a reservation number-it can be looked up with your Phone number but it's good to have that ressie number.

If you are calling within the 90 day timeline for ADR's you DO NOT have to be on the dining plan, You DO NOT need a reservation number, you do not need to stay on site.

if you did need a reservation number to make ADR's I would never have been able to book my ADR's for the next 6 -7 weekends as we are locals and don't plan to stay on site 'till sept. we go on a Saturday or Sunday - have an ADR -have fun and go home.

When I called for my DDP reservations, they could not look us up by our names or phone number under this new system. I had to give them my reservation number. When I didn't have it the first time I had to transferred to someone else to get my number then wait all over again to make my reservations. They explained to me that under the new system they had to have my reservation number.

For some strange reason, I had my reservation number on hand when I made my ADR's. Just figured that would be something they would ask me for since I was within the 90+10.

Are you staying on points and calling the DVC number or just because you are a member you are using that number?? I am a DVC member for quite a few years and never considered this. You can PM me back or send it to canaryj@mail.amc.edu
