Warning about Biergarten

We just got back from a wonderful four days at WDW, and everything was great EXCEPT our experience at Biergarten.

It is not the restaurant's fault. The food was good, and the German CMs were extremely nice. But, our PS was for 8:40, and the entertainment was over for the night! The main reason we went to Biergarten was for the band, and we were really bummed to find out that the last set ends at 8:30 or so.

The fault lies with the WDW-DINE line. When I called to make our PS's, I specifically asked if the band would still be playing at that time, since we needed to eat rather late. They assured me that the performers were on until at least 9 pm. When we arrived at 8:25 to check in, the band was just finishing up. We were seated and waited for the entertainers to come back, but they didn't. Finally, we asked, and the CMs there told us that that had been the last show of the evening.

I feel like we were cheated- we paid the same amount for our dinner as the people who got the show. I will be complaining to Disney.



Sorry to vent- otherwise, everything about our trip was great (Spoodles was yummy!).

Thanks for the heads up! I too would be very disappointed to not get the show along with dinner. Your post will help others avoid the problem. Once again, DISers helping DISers!!

That stinks. We really enjoy the music when we eat there. Too bad they don't play in the courtyard anymore.
