warning about Becco baby carriers

Just to warn all of you I purchased a Becco baby carrier and it was made improperly and my 6 month old almost fell on to a tile floor at the mall!!!! I purcased this brand new and 2 days into owning it AHHHH. I also heard that 2 other people had the same problem. I should have gone with my gut and gotten the Ergo!!!! I also just ordered direct from Ergo. I have not heard from Parentnaturaly.com since I sent back the Becco and guess what else The web page is gone too!!!! Thanks for letting me vent!!!! What a dope I am!!!

Hmmmm, please tell me how on earth your babe fell out of the becco? I have had my beco since the summer and have had no problems with it. What happened exactly? I have actually never heard of anyone having such a problem with a beco? Did something on it break?

My little guy never fell out my husband saw that the band ripped. It was very scary!!! The wbbing connected to the shoulder strap ripped. It was only stiched about 1/2 an inch in. I have heard that they are normaly made very well but after that experience I will never find out. Hopefull they are doing the right thing by not recaling them. I find it odd that when I called to complain that 2 other people had the same problem and now parent naturaly no longer has a web page. I am glad you have enjoyed your hopefuly I will like my ergo as much.

Wow. I'm so sorry you had a problem with yours! I just love mine. I think with all wahm products you have to make sure that everything is done correctly. I am going to check mine over tonight!
