Disney and Warner Brothers both had boutique studio stores, nationwide. They did well for a while, when the logowear craze was at its height. However, times change and people (in general) lost interest in that kind of store, and so both chains started hurting badly. Warner Brothers gave up first. Disney tried to hold on, trying to reinvent itself as a children's clothing and toy store, but that's not really in keeping with Disney's business plans, so they finally sold to The Children's Place a year and half ago.
