Warner Bros Studio taping

We have managed to get three tickets to be in the Studio audience of Two and a Half Men in September.

I read that you have to get there early as you are not guaranteed a seat, even with a ticket as they can and do let VIP's in before the regular guests.

Anyone any experience of this = how early did you get there and did they have any restrooms available (or drinks etc) while you waited?

I wen to a 2 Broke Girls taping almost 2 years ago and i got there about 2 hours before the taping (also at the WB lot). You line up in order of arrival, and they check you in. There are restrooms and vending machines available in the waiting area in the parking garage. About 45 minutes before the taping they walk everyone in that fits within the open amount of seats that end up being available. Restrooms are available during the taping between cuts and they will serve sandwiches and snacks typically.

DH has seen something where it says that smart attire must be worn - does this just mean no park wear or slogan tops? Would longer 'dress shorts' and a shirt with sandals be OK for a man? He just didn't want to take formal trousers and shoes.

DD and myself will be OK as we will both be wearing dresses.

It also says it is quite cool in the studio - did you find this to be the case?

You should contact the company that gave you the tickets, there is probably not a dress code for that show since the audience is not on camera. But the ticket company may enforce their own dress code. And yes, studios can be very cold. But if you are seated near the lights or standing outside for a long time, it may be warm. I'd suggest wearing layers.
