I love the costume my son will be wearing on Halloween it's precious and cozy BUT now that we are headed to MNSSHP next week it is going to be hot.

Any cute age appropriate costume suggestions?

TIA :)

You may want to check your local Target. Ours has some girls onesie type costumes out in the regular toddler clothing area, but they haven't put out the boy ones yet. Last year, they had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and several superheros for the boys. (The girls ones are princesses, Minnie, and superheroes. DD2 is wearing one of the batgirl ones from last year this year.)

Perhaps you could buy a costume and cut it down to make give it short pants and short sleeves. Any of the one-piece costumes would probably work - pirate, superhero, animal, etc. The store-bought costumes are usually lightweight and wouldn't be too hot if the you cut them down a little. Either that or he could be Mickey Mouse in shorts. A black t-shirt, red shorts and mouse ears would do the job.
