My son's 4th grade teacher is having all the kids write something nice about each person in the class. He can't think of anything nice to say about this one girl. She's not very nice and beats other kids up. I'm even having a hard time coming up with something.

What would you say?

Does she wear pretty sweaters? Have cool sneakers? A good artist? Tell neat stories? There has to be something good about her.

Jane doesn't smell too bad.

LOL!! Thanks for the laugh. :)

OK, how about things that, assuming they're true, are easy, like "Jane always comes to the classroom on time." "Jane uses good table manners at lunch." "Jane covers her mouth when she coughs/sneezes." "Jane raises her hand to answer questions." "Jane always has a neat and tidy desk (or appearance)." Stuff that all kids should be doing anyway, but your child could point out in a polite way.

When I don't have anything nice to say, I use the word "interesting" alot. Good luck!
