Wanting to change a reservation

We are a group of 15 that have a reservation on April 23rd at Chef Mickey`s, Contemporary Resort at 8h10PM. This is a special day since one of the children has his B-Day, (children are 3,4,5,6,7 and 10) but we are not able to get earlier reservations and I know for a fact that the children will not eat at that time of day, and may not even be able to stay awake that late. Any suggestions??? Who should I contact? Any info will be appreciated...

You should keep calling disney dining to see if you can change the time although I suspect that that's going to be difficult with such a large group.

Another option that sometimes works is to go right when the restaurant opens and see if you can be seated. I'm not sure if this will work though with a group of 15.

Since you have more than 9 in your group, you have to go through the Group Bookings office. You can divide up your group and do several smaller ADRs (perhaps not all at the same time, but you could ask to be seated at the same time once you arrive there. We did a group of 10 at Akershus and they made sure our tables were next to each other, but they do not move tables there to seat everybody together) Both offices are looking at the same info, BTW.

ADRs become available all the time as people revise their schedules, especially right around 48 hours before for those that have to be guaranteed with a CC (is Chef Mickey's one of those?) We canceled way more than we kept on our last trip.

Your other option is to call Dining and Group Dining and ask them what they have available for the size of your group at any resort. Chef Mickey's is very popular, but I have read comments about other character dinners that people have really liked. IMHO, I would post a thread on dining and see what people recommend.
