Anyone with DDP counter service credit experience at the Pepper Market? The menu looks exceptional for CS and I'm wondering what was made available to diners ordering with their CS credits. Anyone?

TIA!

We werent restricted except in deserts. I dont remember what exactly was available. I do remember that there were more options than we were told here on dis would be available. I got Yogurt and a brownie or something and a Rice Krispie treat.

We had 2 different steak meals and a kids pasta meal. Fries and mashed potatoes with the steaks and fruit with the pasta. All was delicious, except that there were <gasp!> chunks of tomatoes in the sauce and my son had to pick them all out. Everyone was very happy with it.

We stayed there last August and ate there quite often. The only limits we had were dessert and snacks. I think they have liftedt alot of the dessert and snack restrictions.

For lunch we had fajitas, quesidillas, pizza, pasta and rib steak. For dinner we had the prime rib, pizza and pasta. The roasted chicken looked great, but who wants chicken when you can have prime rib ?? :) The prime rib was much better than the rib steak.

Oh, we are staying there again this August too!

Got to be one of the best CS there.

Thank you! I looked at the menu and it seems to be an incredible value for a CS meal. Can't wait to try it!

Coronado Spring was the first resort we stayed in onsite and Pepper Market spoiled me! IMHO it is the best CS at Disney. You'll LOVE it.

(We also think Maya is one of the most under-appreciated resort TS in terms of meal quality)

There were no restrictions for entrees. The only restriction was for dessert. We were allowed to select any item from the bakery. DH and I each had some really good cake. DS got a giant cookie.

The kids meal came with a small cookie, so we assumed that our other DS didn't get a dessert. When I got to the register, the CM said "Oh, you are missing a dessert." I said, "No, the kids meal came with a cookie." She smiled and said "Now do you really want that to be his dessert?" She suggested that I get him one of the giant rice crispy treats to eat later! :goodvibes We did... yummy!

We love Pepper Market and all the nice people who work there!!!

Sorry for so many posts... I keep forgetting things....
The breakfast at PM counts as a CS also. It is cooked to order and VERY good!!!! I wish we had figured that out before our last day...

We ate here last October. The food was great. My husaband had a taco salad and I had some noodle type meal. All great except desserts. Not good at all. They looked yummy but that was it. We did have a hard time getting rice crispy treats for our left over snack credits. It was our last day and I was frustrated. The manager was very nice and took care of it and we were able to get them. I would eat here again. Love the huge menu. Lots of great choices even for a pickey eater.

We stayed at CSR in April and tried the PM for lunch our first day and breakfast another time. The lunch was an unpleasant experience. DH ordered a pizza for ds8 and was told to come back in 10 minutes. Ordered his lunch and brought it to the table, started eating and went back for pizza. The staff had given it away. Even questioned whether DH had actually ordered it. He came back for the ticket to show them and ordered again, refusing to move from the line for fear of losing it again. Meanwhile, his lunch is getting cold and ds3 hasn't eaten yet because I don't want to leave the table w/ no one there. Waits and waits, finally staff opens oven to find that our (and a bunch of other) pizza is burned to a crisp. DH is really mad and comes back fuming that he wants to leave. I take the ticket to manager and explain. Ask for pizza stamp to be negated so I can order him something else. We've now been sittiing for well over 1/2 hour. He crosses it out and initials. I then say that because of this incident, DH's lunch is stone cold. His response...well, we're very busy here now. Nothing, no offer of a replacement. I go back and order ds8 and me (to share w/ ds3) the burger meal. I then tell dh. Meanwhile, server comes over and asks what is going on. I explain. She takes ticket and dh's lunch, comes back w/ a completely new meal and says that it's all taken care of. Refuses to give me the ticket and comped all the meals.

I was appalled at the managers attitude and the lack of organization at each of the stations at the market. While the food was decent and the portion and selection large and varied, the hassle we had with 2 hungry kids at 11:30 in the morning wasn't worth a return trip. I did leave the server an additional tip for her help because she was the only one that seemed to care.

So the moral is...if you're ordering pizza, order it first, wait for it and then order your other meals.

We ordered pizza on two seperate days with no problem either time. Both times we went back to the table to wait, then returned to pick it up. If I had been treated like Janet was I would be very unhappy too. We ate there 4 times on our last trip. All four times were great.
