So we are going end of August

2 adults, timid 5 year old DD and a baby DS

Trying to figure out who to book our FP+ but the way it works we are simply loosing out DD FP+

Ideally I would like

DHS- TSM, TOT and Star Wars - that wastes my daughters 2 choices

MK- Peter Pan, Splash mountain and MIne train- that wastes DD 2 choices

Epcot and Ak are not as bad.

I am trying to figure out how I can do it so I don't waste her FP+ - love to just book her on her choices like ETWB and Rapunzel then one of use accompany her. Also trying to figure if rider swap can help as we have our DS too.

What would you do?

First, you don't have to book your FPs in lock-step. We just did a trip with my 8, 4 and 2yos and for rides only the 8yo wanted to/could ride, I booked FPs for her and DH while I booked a different set of FPs for me and younger DD (DS is too young to need FPs). I was able to get the same time frames for all of us by booking all four of us initially for the same ride, then changing two of the FPs to whatever DD2 wanted to ride.

If you want to ride the rides your DD doesn't want to, you can use rider swap. Again, make the FPs for one adult and whichever child will ride, then ask at the ride entrance for the rider swap ticket. The second adult to ride shouldn't need a FP; the rider swap ticket is sufficient. That way you can schedule the second adult on rides to do with the kids who can't ride the coasters.

You still end up with your family split up quite a bit, but that's kind of just a fact of life when you bring little kids to WDW, with or without FP.
