DVC POINT CHART and CALCULATOR
I have created an Excel spreadsheet to do easy point calculations for DVC vacations. I intend to eventually make this available free to anyone who wants it, but first would like several people to first test it and report back to myself anything you find. Then any errors can be fixed, or highly desired new features added.
Features:
The program shows a regular calendar (24 months long) that is color coded by Disney Season for the particular resort selected. You can select any date for the start date of the calendar.
A vacation is selected by clicking on the dates on the calendar. The program calculates and displays the points required.
You can change resort, room type (Studio etc.), and view (Std/Pref) at the click of a button. The points charts change and your vacation points are automatically revised.
A report page shows your planned vacation. The report page can be easily printed.
The point charts can easily be updated by yourself when DVC releases new year charts (EG 2003). This way the program does not become obsolete in a year requiring you to get a new version. If you keep it up to date yourself, it should be good thru 2042 (unless Disney adds additional resorts besides BCV)
BCV is included, but with no points yet. When a chart is available, points can easily be added that will activate the BCV features.
For those that do not have Excel, I eventually hope to create a stand-alone version (*.exe) file, but this will be a ways off)

If you would like to be a beta tester and play with this program, please E-mail me and I will send you a copy. I only ask that you give me feedback on what you find.
System Requirements:
The program is in Excel-97. It should work in any higher version also. If you have Excel-95, let me know and I can send a -95 version although I have no idea how it would work.
Other spreadsheets may work (EG Lotus) but it would need to be converted from the Excel file. If anyone wants to try this, let me know. I suspect that a lot of the formats would change, and the VBA code may not execute properly, (if at all).
If you don't have a spreadsheet program, I'm sorry. You will have to wait until I can write an *.exe version.
Best screen resolution is 800x600 which makes the calendar just fill the screen. Other resolutions will work OK, but remember lower resolutions will require some scrolling left and right
