I want to do Disney next May with DD who will be 5 at the time of the trip. I am planning on ten nights and am trying to decide between the POP for a value resort or either CSR or POR if I choose to go with a moderate. I don't plan on being in the parks the entire time since I want my DD and I to have some downtime just relaxing at the resort. Any input would be greatly appreciated from fellow Disney fans. :flower:

Hello and welcome!
You are smart in planning on some down time. Even my DS (now almost 15) needs to take a daily break. This is especially true if you go when it's hot. I suggest you check out the discount information on mousesaver.com. Also go over to allearsnet.com for tons of info on everything at WDW. Keep reading these great boards for a lot of great ideas. :sunny:

Helllloooo fellow Dis planner....glad your here. You and DD will have a great time I am sure. Just wanted to give what little input I can. While we have not stayed at POP (staying there in Nov. this year) we did just stay at POFQ in Dec. and stayed in POR the previous Dec......we absolutely loved both of them....favored POFQ a little more just because of the smaller size....makes everything a little more convienent. Anyway, we have also stayed in CBR and it is one of my favorites. I'm sure you could get more input from others who have stayed at Pop as to if it's more kid friendly, which I believe it is. :wave2:
