Want to loose weight with me this year ???

I think that I did a pretty good job on controlling my eating today and I also exercised for 30 minutes with a home exercise video (Richard Simmons, I don't really like the guy but I do like his form of exercise :rotfl: )

Anybody else have some good news to report today. :smooth:
 
I have walked back and forth to work both yesterday and today :cheer2:
 
I am officially 2 weeks clean and sober(chips and chocolate that is).

Down 6lbs. :cool1: :banana: :Pinkbounc

DeeDeeDis- my goal is about 40 lbs. I am doing it in baby steps though. I have a bet with a girl at work- we have to be down 12 by Feb. 18th then we will set a new goal.
 
Added 5 more minutes to my Gazzelle Workout! :cool1:

I washed the cat yesterday, so just chasing him around the bathroom I must have lost a good pound! :lmao:

Actually Just from starting up on the water again I am down 3lbs since last week :thumbsup2 Now today I am to start changing the eating habits. That could prove to be more difficult!!

Well things are improving. I'm back to my "no eating after 7pm only water"
kick. Weigh in will be tomorrow night. Keep your fingers crossed!

I was out shopping for some new clothes, and looked in the mirror as I was trying them on -- and I didnt recognize the woman in the mirror!! Two kids and the last few years as a stay at home mom and the wife of a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy has surely done me in. I started weight watchers Last January ('05) and lost about 23lbs by that June, then father day came and we had a huge gathering and I lost it, and its been adding back on since then. Unfortunately I have gained back about 3/4 of what I had lost. SO, I finally got off my butt and started weight watchers again today (monday) and I have to say the first day went ok. Usually thats my hardest. We are going to WDW in October of this year and I would like to loose about 50 or so pounds by then, I hope that is doable. At this point, I would be happy with 20. So, wish me and everyone else on this thread luck!!! We should all have a "Weigh In Day" like on a monday or a friday and report any weight we lost. You dont need to give out your starting weight or anything, just what you have lost for that week.

well i went to the gym again yesterday. worked up a really good sweat, too! i am going again tonight. they do weigh ins for those interested 1ce a month, so i am going to weigh in next week (end of jan/beg of feb) as i KNOW that since i was last going, (up to november) i have gained, so i want to know what i am at now, so that at the end of February i can see what i lost during February, kwim/ anyway i am back at it. and last night i resisted popcorn snack i had to keep sitting down as it was instictive to just get up and make it...but i resisted! yea me!
 
Congrats MRSSCOOTER for starting your come back and joining the post. Hey 50 pounds in that time, pardon the pun. NO SWEAT! You have inspired me to get on the treadmill today for the first time this year.
I fell off the wagon on Saturday just after I dragged out the treadmill, it took about 20 minutes to get it out (talk about sweat). The thing is about 400 pounds. Just after I brought it out the inlaws invited DW and I out for dinner. So we met them at the MANDARIN and so 2 hours later we came out.
For those who may not know this, the Mandarin is a wonderful Chinese buffet.
So as I sit here typing this the guilt I feel is tremendous. At least I feel it though because 2 months ago It would not have even occured to me. So I guess thats progress too.
Went to Wall mart on Sunday and bought a new CD walkman to help put all those minutes as I walk behind me with ease.

Did you know that the airpopped or even microwave light popcorn is next to no calories/fat. My weight watchers leader said that if you do the light or light butter etc. you will be okay. Just dont sit and eat two or three bags in a row and like any snacky foods, not too late at night. We buy the act two brand and I think its called 99% fat free something like that and in the weight watchers book its only I think two or three points for the whole bag if that. Ok, need to stop getting popcorn urge............

I want to loose 20 lbs. I refuse to go out and buy the next size and I'm down to two pair of pants!

I started a Yoga class once per week and Pilaties once per week.

I also just joined the Y - as the kiddies are taking classes, in hopes I can walk the treadmill while they are at class.

Cut down my carbs drastically this week - my downfall - cookies, sweets, chips! Basically I WAS a junk food junkie!

If you don't like water - I drink the Aquafina Flavour Splash Citrus Blend (I love it!!!) and cut it by half - half real water and half aquafina. Any flavoured water will do.

u are right! its not much at all...however i dont usually start to pop it until after 9 and i have been nown to add on some butter. :goodvibes :rolleyes1 :love: wait no thats bad :furious: bad kerry bad :guilty:
 
Hey everyone, we where getting pretty low on the page.

Back on track this morning. I am still down 9 lbs for the month.....hoping for 10 but don't think I will lose a pd today.

Great job, Kim. My official weigh-in was Friday and I'm down 10 lbs in 3 weeks. Now I've put one or two back on over the weekend (we had company for supper yesterday) but I'm back at it again today. I'm still ahead of the pace I'd set for myself and I've now only(?) got 17 weeks left to go. But with hockey tournaments over each of the next three weekends it's going to be a tough go for the next little while. :(

We should keep track of total group loss and see how many people we can lose (or equivalent) before we're all done. :teeth:

wow u guys are kicking butt!!!! i am still the same. :O( but tomorrow is a new day, right? back at it tomorrow! with a trip to the gym tomorrow night !
 
Good to hear someone else is stuck at the same weight as last week - I weighed in tonight and was the same as last Monday. I consoled myself by thinking I could have gone up, and that would have been worse! I was bad this weekend and overate at dinner with friends, but am back on track as of now. Lots of water and more time on the treadmill tomorrow...

It's great reading everyone's messages and knowing I'm not alone at this.

Last week I went down by just a fraction under a pound (.8 of a pound).
