I know there are many threads out there asking the same thing but...

This is going to be my husbands and I's second trip to Disney together (I have gone over 15 times, this is his second).

On our last trip we went to:
Le Cellier - my first time too, we LOVED having dinner here
Teppan Edo - really good but you can get anytime where we live
Sci Fi - fun atmosphere but can skip this time
Raglan Road - he is Irish and LOVED this place
O'Hana - our favorite place
Liberty Tree Tavern - really bad experience and will not return

We are newlyweds with no children and are looking for new places to try! We will be using the dinning plan and LOVE to eat and try new things.

So the question is.. WHERE SHOULD WE GO???

We're looking forward to Marrakesh and Sanaa. Spice Road appeals to me but not the rest of the family. Biergarten gets a lot of praise and you probably don't have easy access to something similar.

Biergarten
Rose & Crown
Skipper's Canteen
San Angel
Tutto Italia
Be Our Guest
Yak & Yeti

We always did Jiko which we still love, but tried Sanaa this time for fun. It was great and we will be going back!

You've hit some good places already. I'd suggest Kona or the Wave for some place new around the Monorail loop. In addition, you may want to pick one the signature restaurants like Narcoossee's, Artist Point or Yachtsman Steakhouse.

BOG
Skipper Canteen
Sanaa, Boma or Jiko
50s PTC
Spice Road Table
Tokyo Dining
Tutto Italia
the Boathouse
Morimotos
Tiffins (if it has opened by the time you visit))

We only visit five TS eateries at WDW when we go there for an actual meal. *
1) We prefer
. . . fine food
. . . excellent, top notch service
. . . innovative dishes with flair and quality
. . . overall great value
. . . relaxed and soothing dining atmosphere
. . . behaved and somewhat quiet patrons
2) The only sit-down restaurants we routinely visit,
. . . Sanaa - Animal Kingdom Villas Resort (one of my personal favs)
. . . Artist Point - Wilderness Lodge Resort
. . . Citricos - Grand Floridian Resort
. . . Shula's Steakhouse - Dolphin Resort (no DDP)
. . . Il Mulino - Swan Resort (no DDP)
3) Our (nearby) off-site Recommendations:
. . . Bull & Bear - Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek - Fine Dining
. . . Café D'Antonio - Celebration - Casual Italian
. . . Columbia - Celebration - Casual Spanish/Cuban
. . . Fish Bones - Hwy192 - Seafood
. . . Venetian Room - Caribe Royale Hotel - Fine Dining
. . . The Hotel Tea Room - Davenport, FL - Casual - Friday Steak-Fry, Afternoon Tea
.
NOTE1: The only time we visit other TS eateries is to renew our ratings for the eatery(ies).
And, when we do these, we have "sampler" dishes (whether free or paid) so we can try
several appys/entrées without pigging-out.
.
NOTE2: Now, for a real treat, go to The Hotel and Tea Room in Davenport, FL on
a Friday evening. It is run by a real, true Little Old Lady (Miss Mae), who refuses to
charge big bucks! They have a steak dinner that tops Ruth's Chris' or Shula's. It is an
OLD hotel with a small dining room. Chef is an award winning Chef with Best-In-Show
awards for pies, pastries, and cakes !!! Our bill for two (salad, 1½"-thick-after-cooking
rib eye, dessert, and taxes) was only $66.00. They have a nice Afternoon Tea. Breakfast
is literally all you can eat for $6.00, tax included. Yep, six bucks! The place is about
40-min from WDW, but really worth the wait. (Check them out on Facebook or Internet.)
Ressies required for Friday night steak fry and most Afternoon Teas.

Mama Melrose is good. We also like Kona Cafe, The Grand Floridian Cafe, and Coral Reef.

I have no experience with these places, but in your shoes, the two I'd really like to try are The Boathouse and Jiko. The Boathouse has an enormous menu, I cannot imagine not being able to find something great to eat there. Jiko fits the "different" bill, and has excellent reviews.

I tried 2 new places this month. The first was my best meal of the trip - Les Chefs de France. We booked the Candlelight Processional package, and enjoyed the entire experience. The tables are really close together, but they are at Le Cellier, too. We had a great server, and the food was prepared exactly as requested.

We also tried BOG for dinner for the first time, and I was underwhelmed. I will stick with lunch there.

Jiko is a must do for us on each trip. Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian is fun too!

PP Baklava suggested Restaurant Marrakesh and Sanaa. Both very good and I have enjoyed both twice. Maybe check out their menus online to see which appeals more. If you go to Sanaa, make sure to give yourself at least a half hour before dinner to go out behind Kidani Village to view the animals. Enjoy!

Just tried Tutto a few trips back and now it's a must do! We especially love the appetizers and cocktails :)

If you enjoyed Le Celler I would suggest giving Yachtsman steakhouse a try, it's definitely a cut above ; ). Also definitely get over to AKL and try either Jiko or Sanaa. Both are amazing and offer truly unique experiences

Here are a few we like
Near MK...The Wave, Kona, Trails End(breakfast)Grand Fl. Cafe
Around Epcot and HS...ESPN, Rose n Crown, Nine Dragons, San Angel Inn, Biergarten and 50s PTC
AK area...Maya Grille, Boma

Ohana for supper is also our favorite restaurant & we like LeCellier too.
This time we tried Jiko & we loved it. Excellent food & a quiet restaurant. California grill is also tops!
Not as fancy but we enjoy Yak & Yeti. Also, we really like San angel inn .
