Want to go in September

has anyone been/going in September? Ive only ever been in may, june and july so wondering what people thought of going in September. Weather, crowds etc?

I went September 2010, the weather was pleasant in that it was quite warm, it was chilly in the mornings & evenings though but only jumper weather.

The crowds were fine until we hit the Friday & Saturday where it was much busier but we had done everything we wanted to do by then so it was just seeing what had the shortest queues.

We start on a tues night so hopefully come Friday we will have done most things. What was the rough temperature?

Not sure around the 16 degrees plus, I was wearing shorts during the day & felt comfortable

it can be a lot warmer in September than June and also drier than July.

September is a great time to go as all the school holidays are over, there's no public holidays, the weather is good and it's still light in the evenings

We went last September Sunday to Thursday it was lovely we had really nice weather needed a thin jacket in the morning and evening but we were all in shorts and t shirts all week! The crowd level was perfect except Sunday was horrendous. Would defiantly recommend September on personal experience x

we went 2009 and 2010 in september, last week into oct. 2009 was amazing weather! shorts and tshirts (sweatshirt in the morning/evenings) 2010 weather not so amazing sweatshirt most of day and a little rainy.

crowd wise 2009 everything was walk-on 2010 a bit busier

overall a great time to go though and we would def go back then, having a baby in may but im hoping for a late sept trip this year

Aww congratulations!! Most people seem to be saying the same. Weather great, crowds not to bad and remember to take something warm to wear early morning and late evening I'm so excited!
