I think a fatigue mat, grocery store clerks stand on them.

Post your zip code and I'll tell you what's available in your area.

YES I am !!!!!! Let's get together pre or post event and chat!!!!!! There's a Longhorn, Chilis, Steve B, OCharleys all in the area--or just drinks in the Target cafe.

PM me!

And now all of the Acworth ones are gone--I counted at least 5 since 8.

There are new events showing for 10/7 10/13 10/21 all at ST. Pillsbury reduce sugar cake and crisco no stick spray:confused3 , and South Beach diet

I swiped in a few minutes late one day due to MC Card not working. I had to call TMT and they said to buy it with my own money. Target manager just qmosed it for me. TMT paid me $40 because by the time all of that had happened it was about 11:15am. I have e-mailed them several times and got no response. So with TMT don't swipe in late. :sad2:

Weird. I already had this Oct 28 event booked. They added it to a few more SuperWalmarts, same day, same event.

The new stores they added around here for this event have an additional product added - Cascadian Farms Chocolate Chip bars. Glad I booked the event with only two products. :)

Salute to Savings at WM are now off-date. Picked up two. :)

I'm sad. :(

I finally got my password and stuff in the mail today but there are no events available in my area. :(

They are all like an hour away. I guess I must have other reps in my area since there is nothing local right now. Guess I'm going to have to be diligent in checking the site multiple times a day to look for events. I feel like a vulture...

It'll pick up - it's been really slow lately and not all the same events in all locations. Search some other zip codes and see if any Super Targets show for you - if not, write to your person from the stayingconnected.com website and see if you can be added to ST (if they cover them for your area).

I have a question.... I am now doing my report online but I have a problem... It ask how much time you spent before you swiped in, and then it ask from the time you swiped in till the time you swiped out... then it ask how long it took you to get your paper signed and to do your report, So I do all that, and it comes up more than 5 hours, of course.... then when you press send, it comes up You are only allowed 5 hours and anything over will be grounds for termination..... I wonder if I should lie which is grounds for termination/// about my hours... I even lowered them to 5.5 hours and that is still too many... Maybe I will wait till tomorrow and ask them what to do...... I can't call in because I guess I waited too late......

Does anyone have the asnwer to this????? I too arrive about 15 minutes prior and do my inventory count, etc. I guess I now have to wait until 11:00 am exactly to clock in--but how does that work? Hover at the register until the clock ticks over to 11:00?
I am trying to enter today's event but it won't let me do more than 5 hours. HELP.

Ugh. I was hoping somebody would have answers before I got home from today's event. It is pretty darn impossible to scan in and out at the exact second. Should I not even bother trying to report today?

Well, I called the help # about the reporting system and was told to go ahead and submit the info. I was told I would not be immediately terminated, but the info is kept in my file and if I am repeatedly over in time I might be teriminated. WHAT??? I explained that I arrive early so that I am actually demoing at start time and was told that was fine. So how do they expect people to get the kit found and set up without repeatedly being over time? Why do they care since I don't get paid for extra minutes anyway? :confused3

It could be something to do with labor laws-you know--getting paid for actual hours worked (DOL standards used to be 8 minutes into a 1/4 hour and you get paid for the quarter hour--i.e. if you clock in 11:07 you get paid from 11:00 if you clock in at 11:08 you get paid from 11:15---for hourly employees). Just a humble guess. It could also be a tracking tool for them to see if they are undercharging companies by not charging for our full time.

Can anybody let me know what time they are planning on swiping in and out tomorrow. Also, how many minutes will you be putting that it takes before and after. I honestly never minded the extra time because it let me set up w/out feeling like I was rushing to start on time. If it's going to cause problems, then I'll cut back on my extra minutes.

I'm just going to explain to my ST person that I need to swipe my card at 11:00 or within 1 - 2 minutes before. I'll do all the inventory, set up etc and then go make my purchase. Of course that's alot easier for an event where everything is QMOS--for events where I have to purchase stuff--I guess I will just do it 1 -2 minutes before and if I'm not actually demoing at 11:00 then so be it. I too thought I should be demoing product 11 - 4 not spending part of that time on set up/clean up.

GA demoers: I just let Wal Mart in Kennesaw go for Oct 28.

Fun! Thanks again. I still need to fax the notorized W-2 form and get my hire packet but it's good to know there is stuff out here. I cannot work at Walmart though (political feelings against the company) but those other two stores are very close to me! Thanks again, so much. I look forward to trying this stuff out.

Melissa
P.S. I am seeing people have a lot of problems with "exact time" in and out swiping. I think this looks very irritating. It seems like they are going, doing a good job, and then getting complaints because the employers system isn't so great. Not sure if I'm interested in that kind of frustration. Maybe my area's contact person will have some answers for me BEFORE I get started.

Anybody else in the PNW?

Well I reported my results. Like everyone else it said I worked over time. I made the report come to 5 hours. I guess Liz will get another email on monday. Are we not supposed to "clock in until 11 and then clock out at 4:confused3 I always thought we were supposed to be up and running at 11
or whatever is your starting time. I'm not looking to get more pay.

Here is what I do and have been doing for some time now.

Get there at start time... Get product from shelf to purchase...purchase (usually around 11:15am or so) ... which will work for the first question. THen I do my demo... then I get my paperwork signed at about 15mins left... then I clean up and clock out.

That way all the time and questions are accounted for. I used to arrive early to set up but then I was told by a past coordinater when I complained about having to wait to clock in for Kmart managers to find kit. he said that we are paid for our time to get get and stuff... So from that point on I arrive at my exact start time and clock in after I find my stuff.

For me today...

Clocked in at 11:15am Clocked out at 5pm

15mins before
5.5 sampling
15mins after to do my report, get signed and clean up

= 6 hours... golden

but if anyone hears differently from their cordinaters please post answers

I only arrive at the store about 10 minutes before. Long enough to sign vendor log, hit ladies room, grab product from shelf & thru the registers by 11:10 at latest if there were problems. Set up & demo. Break down about 3:45. Clean up. Count & fill in forms. Walk store & I'm going thru the register a few minutes past 4pm. Only problem then is I sometimes end up hanging around another 10 minutes at most trying to get a signature if I haven't seen them earlier in the day to get it. I get stamp from service desk if they have it or if I don't need to wait for manager.
