Please forgive my stupidity here. I finally got an email that my paperwork was received. I need to do the phone interview now and upload my head shot. I don't have a scanner. How do I get a 2x2 inch shot? A passport photo
is not 2x2. I know there is probably a very simple solution here, but I'm feeling dense. Any help would be appreciated!

Do you have a digital camera? You could take a pic of yourself and upload it or use your camera software to edit a pic that has you in it. I just cropped the kids out of a photo of all of us and uploaded it.

You can send one in the mail to them too and I'm sure even if it's not the exact size, someone there will re-size it digitally to be okay. Just have someone take several head/shoulder pictures of you against a white wall and go to a one hour photo if you don't have a digital camera.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the picture is for Super Target events and it's for security, and again, not sure, but I think you have to have the picture on file before you can book a job at Super Target (I am assuming this from an email I got last week when they needed people ASAP for a Super Target grand opening).

Holy Moly. There is a Salute to Savings Wave I - Dollar Days Event at Meijer on 9/22. Does MC have a new client? That would mean a lot more opportunities for those of us who have Meijer since some other company does their demos now. They also have stainless steel carts that they use. Fingers crossed it's more than a one time thing.

Just read the Event instructions for the Meijer event and it states not to utilize any of the materials from the Meijer Demo Supply area. It also states other Meijer events may be running in-store. Also, the event is to run on-date unless approved by your staffing manager. Maybe this is a one time deal. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Good thing - it requires a microwave. Love that additional appliance pay.

I'm back from my small local Walmart off-date cereal event already. Hard to believe, but of the 3 cereals, they don't carry ANY of them. I can understand the 2 new ones, but they also no longer carry the Nature Valley Oats&Honey. And I've sampled that cereal there before. We checked the shelves & the back room. Nothing.

Luckily I only live 2 miles from the store. I made my 75 cent purchase, got the signature & left after being there abour 45 minutes. And hey, I just left everything in the car & I'm already packed for tomorrows event now. 5 hrs pay would have been nicer than just $28, but I'm just glad I didn't drive a long distance to find out there was nothing.

No, nothing of ANY of the cereals mentioned. Not even out back. No tags on the shelves for the products. Its a very small cereal aisle at this store. I probably should have known better to even book it. Probably why it was off-date. Not that I think I have any competition anyway.

So I made my 75 cent swipe, got managers signature & called in results as event not run. I think this is only the 2nd time I've had this happen in over a year. Other time, same deal. Store didn't carry the product at all.

I've done like 100 events, and I just quit. I was gone in CA last week, and they hadn't received (for whatever reason) my paperwork. Like 2 days later, I was locked out of the system. They always send these nasty-sounding notes instead of saying "hey, do you have copies of your report?"

Soooo - that is it for me! It was nice making a little extra money, and I'll miss my repeat guests and co-workers.

Oh - and make copies! I sometimes made copies, sometimes didn't.

Just back from my "Big G" off-date. No Nature Valley Cereal - either variety, only 5 boxes of the Oat Cluster Cheerios and 17 of the Chocolate Chex. End up selling 15 boxes total. Not bad, but did better last Saturday. Tomorrow I'm doing an off-date Snack Factory Pretzel Crisp then nothing for two weeks as I leave for California Saturday.

No, it was not to be sampled before the change. The change was to put another one of the cereals in the Allergen cups. Can't remember which one though.

Oh! Thanks - I wish I had saved the old copy as I couldn't figure out what was different.

Both Chex and Cheerios had to go in the allergen cups. My neighbor said all Chex has a peanut dust risk (her son is severely allergic).
