I did my first couple of events about an hour away. There wasn't anything local and I was eager to get started.

Hi everyone. I have finally been hired and received an email with my login info. I just booked my first two events for May (Coppertone & Huggies). Both say they are On Date rates. What exactly does that mean?

FYI, I am one of those people that has to know everything before I do anything so I'm sure I will have plenty more questions before my first event. I'm nervous already.

Thank you all for your previous posts..they have been very helpful. I haven't made it thru all of them yet but I'm slowly working my way thru.

Congrats. On date rate means $70 for 5 hrs --like the thread title says (unless you are one of the states that recently received a "raise" then its $80). By the time you finish reading this thread, I doubt you will have any questions left. By this point, it seems we've answered almost every question. :rotfl:

Thanks SplshMtn99 for the quick response. On the SPi rate sheet from the website it had 5 hours at $50 base rate, $8 On Date Rate, and $12 bonus for meeting requirements. I was thinking they were going to reduce the base rate or something. Thank goodness I get all of that!! I need the $$ for our upcoming Disney vacation.

Congratulations, and welcome! I was very nervous before my first event but you'll see just how easy it is, and fun! I am loving this new part time job. I think you will, too. :goodvibes

There's a rate sheet on their website? SPi has a website? Link please. Learn something new.

HI guys, sorry im not on as much, they are really cracking down at work and i try not to get on too much, anyway was just online checking and new event:
HUGGIES HAS YOU COVERED at kmarts for 5/19....4 hours.

www.staying-connected.com the same site where we do the e-booking if you go under frequently asked questions and click on payroll it pulls up the rate sheet. I assume this is what she means.

Well, I'll be!! Apparently you get ALOT more under FAQ when you are signed in....because I've never seen that stuff there before. :rotfl: Thanks.

I thought I check every nook and cranny of that websiite. :rotfl: Who would have thought to check there for info. :lmao:

well i just went to check out that faq. imagine that ..lol...interesting that the raise is not reflected on there...and splsh yes i too am pretty busy i think i have 6 events lined up till the end of may and i had to pass on two others due to conflicts...so this is pretty nice time right now.

Whew,

Last time battling the frosting on the cinnamon rolls today. This is my 4th one and boy am I ever glad it is the last. They sell really well but they are just a pain in the you know what. My poor toaster oven is on its last leg. Between all the biscuit demos I did and then the cookies and now all these cinnamon rolls.

So who has celebrated their one yr Mass Connection anniversary. Mine is not till May but I know some of you all have made it official a year! Just wanted to say    And like the thread said it sure did add to my disney fund:cloud9:

Just checked and my 1 year anniversary was 3/26!party:

Funny thing is, in 2006 I only had 20 events. This year I've already had 16, with 4 more scheduled! I must have lost a lot of my competition when we had the slow-down at Christmas time, or we're a lot busier!

Cool! My 1 yr anniversary was 3/28/06. In 2006, I did 33 events, and I had unbooked 5 or 6 more. And passed on HBA & some other types of products. Made $1944 + some appliance $.

So far in 2007, I've done 13 & have 8 more booked. :thumbsup2 I think I have some local competition now, and didn't last year.

Unfortunately, my $ has just been going into checking & gets eaten up by bills & extras. But its still nice to have.

I was so surprised to read this morning that me..the newbie..actually had some new info about the website for all you pros. :thumbsup2 I'm glad I could help out, even if it was by mistake! I recevied my MC card yesterday (it may have come a few days ago..I haven't been checking my mail lately)..so I guess I am truly "official". I can't wait to get going. I find myself looking forward to reading this thread to see how you all do your events & to learn the ins & outs! I'm really glad you all are here to help me on this journey. May 5th Coppertone will be my 1st!!!
