Has anyone ever had to do a REQUIRED CLIENT REPORT FORM??

I have to do 1 for my pears event tommorrow. I don't know what I am supposed to do to it. Help Please!!

Alisha

I had one for Pears in November. I think it was questions about ripeness & quality of product if I remember right. And I think the instructions said to mail it in with store report form. It wasn't anything difficult. Give me a few minutes to go back & look at the Nov posts to jog my memory.

OK, I remember now. I just looked under My events on ebooking. The form came as part of the printed instructions & it said to mail it in with report form. The produce manager helped me fill it out. And in my stores case, some questions didn't apply since they don't normally carry that variety. But we answered best we could & explained what we couldn't.

If it helps at all, here's the posts from the Nov time frame about the pear demos. My post is #3599.

Thanks, Splsh. I will just take it with me and hope they will help.

I should probably take a knife too, just in case the slicer doesn't like me. I just hope this event is better than yesterdays. It's at the same store. Yesterday's cinnamin rolls was sooo boring. There were not that many people and most of them didn't want to try them.

Good luck to everyone with events this weekend. I have tommorrow and then next Mon and Wed back to more cinn. rolls.

Yes, a knife would be good. Some pears were huge & wouldn't fit in slicer. lol But the slicer idea did work nicely. And bring water for clean up of brown sticky juices. My event went over well. I was right in produce in the main aisle. I had alot of samplers...and many buyers even though my pears were not ripe. I also spent alot of time educating people on how to test for pear ripeness. LOL.....me....a person who never had eaten a pear in her life. :rotfl: I liked them too.

Sorry for the quick post yesterday. I've a lot of competition around here. I also had to go to a fun fair meeting for my son's school.

Most of my events that come up are at ST, very few Kmarts and Walmarts. The Walmarts around here are not very nice to demo at. They act like they are doing me a great favor by letting me into their store.

I hope everyone was able to get some jobs.

Well I am off to do the Neutrogena event today. Hopefully I don't die from boredom like some have warned! I have another one of these tomorrow so hopefully it isn't to excruciating!

Wow! You guys weren't kidding that neutrogena event was snoozesville. I booked an event for supertarget on 5/12. Just one more neutrogena tomorrow, boy am I dreading that.

How do you demo make-up when you cannot "directly apply to customer?" Do you just hand them the tube? I'm not sure how to run my event (Neutrogena) tomorrow. I was thinking about bringing some Q-tips to put the make-up on so I can hand it to customers. Then they can directly apply it to themselves, lol. What do you think??? Help!

I just helped them pick out their color and handed them the tube, they then applied some to their hand and rubbed it in.:confused3 Maybe there is a better way, but that got the job done.

wow, we were on the 3rd page...anyway new event is up for two dates 4/28-29, its a yoplait/8th continent but it doesnt have instructions yet

Saw that one but it's the day of DS17 prom... I have a feeling I'll be otherwise occupied.

Did any of you ever unbook an event and rebook something else for the same day?? I was thinking about doing this but don't want to get into any trouble.:confused3

yep and after i did it and booked the new event, they cancelled my event and somebody had already snatched up the one i unbooked,...so i was eventless and sad!..LOL...seriously i dont htink they mind if you unbook as long as theres enough time for someone else to take the job. I have unbooked like 4-5 jobs all more than one week before with no problems.

I'm waiting for the instructions for the one I just booked cuz if its too involved I may unbook it, stuff in my area goes quick so you cant hesitate.

Wal-Mart was crazy today! People loved the Hamburger Helper samples. Time flew by a lot quicker today than it did yesterday with the Neutrogena stuff.

Yes, I have. Once or twice. Never had anyone even email me about it.

Looks like I'm going to have to start looking further from home. I don't know why events near home (at new stores) aren't being listed. :confused3

I just booked a Thurs 4/26 Cascadian Farms Granola cereal & bars at a WalMart Supercenter 50 miles from home. I've only looked up to 40 miles before.

And Sat 4/28 Yoplait & Soymilk at Walmart Supercenter 40 miles from home in the opposite direction.

There are 2 off date events in the 70 mile range, but there just isn't any easy highways to get to Plymouth MA from my house. I would so rather take weekday events to have some weekends with DH once in a while.

I have a Bissel(SPi) event booked for 4/15 & there is one showing for the same date at a different location that i would love to do too. I am wondering if anyone knows when this will become avail off date?

I have ebooked for Diet Coke Plus(TMT) for this wknd & I need to make a MC Card purchase of the product. Do I still need to make a .75 swipe in?

I recv'd my 1st check today! It was for the Target Archer Farm cookie (TMT)event on 3/17- I got the show up pay b/c the employees ate the samples a week before the event date!

TIA for any & all input.

Oh my!! I had a horrible day today. Well the event went well but, at the end I lost my envelope with my MC card, store report form AND swipe in receipt.
I can't believe I did such a stupid thing.:headache:
Feeling like such an idiot.:sad1:

The last 2 events I could not get the report form entered. It says invailed event ID#, What should I do>??? I couldn't get an answer when I called....

Heads up.. Purina event coming up at Kmart 5/26..

I don't want to say I'll never do another make-up event again, but...

You guys weren't kidding about the Neutrogena event being a snoozer! :bored: Man, there's five hours of my life I'll never get back. It's hard to get people to come over when you are offering no discount, no coupon, and no freebies. I sold one tube of make-up. One. I heard a lot of good feedback about the make-up from people that already use it, but very few people were interested in my "script." It was soooooooo boring.

Oh, well. At least I'll get paid for my time :goodvibes
