I'm sick... been on antibiotics since Wed night.. I'm booked for Special K Sat & Sun... and dreading those 10 hours.. thinking I might cancel the Sunday one if tomorrow doesn't go well...

BTW splsh - I do wear black crocs (no holes)... they help ALOT!!

Maybe that is because I have my best friend here with her VERY active three year old. MY poor DD 8 is her biggest fascination, she can't pee alone!

My DD15 is bored out of her mind! This is the 3rd "ice day" of the school year!
Wish I would have rented some movies!

I just hope I can afford my gas bill! Not easy keeping the house warm when it's this darn cold out!

Think I'll go get my "stuff" ready for the event although it's doubtful I'll ge there!

Glad to hear about the no hole crocs. I figured they wouldn't look 1/2 as bad as the holey ones.

I use my own tray & baskets. Gold plastic tray I had. Set of 2 black plastic dishwashable baskets from Dollar Store ($1) fit napkins & spoons perfectly.

And for those sore legs, I finally picked up an anti-fatigue mat at Staples. Maybe $15...I can't remember exactly. Its grey squishy. Just a tad longer than table. It fits nicely behind table & is great on the feet & legs.

It rolls up compact enough to fit inside my table if i don't have a lot of other stuff in there too. I just slip in into a trash bag when rolled up since its dusty / dirty from the floor.

But I've been soooooooo tempted to wear a pair of black crocs....the kind without any holes. They would just look like clogs.

Black Clogs here!!! With holes too, but I wear the black trouser socks under - and I've had comments from other demo people, all thinking that is a good way to go... (and if I get secret shopped, I'm telling the truth, I truly havent been able to wear normal shoes - I have plantar fascia - bone spur in the heal, only crocs !!)

Microcell: Congratulations. I'm also with TMT and not much has been available lately.

shelwoj: Congratulations on your first event. Didn't have any aches or pains after my 4 hr. event, but a 5 hr. event is upcoming. Like Splash, I liked the trays. Did they provide them for the event or were they yours?

cynjam: Your poster suggestion was very informative for me. Not sure if I would have thought of that or not.

My "trays" are clear disposable plates! I got them for a Christmas party and I really like them. The baskets I bought for my sons graduation parties and now I get to use them over and over again!

My aches and pains will be fine after a few events. My problem is my "real" job is a desk job so I'm out of shape. We're going to walk around the Dayton RV show tomorrow and then I have an event on Sunday so I should feel great come Monday. I like this though, you get to meet an interesting mix of people in a Walmart.

I did pick up the soy milk and Betty Crocker event on 1/25 and the Fuel Up on 2/11. There is nothing else for February. Pickens are slim I tell ya.

hey, don't know about other states, but here, fuel up is 2/10 at some stores & 2/11 at other stores. so you could do both!!!

also instructions are up for soy milk / warm delights & the hershey chocolates. Wow, that's a whole lot of chocolate we need to buy.

Did not make it to my event today. Raining ICE all over the place. Snow coming later! Ahh yes, snow on top of ice! What fun!

I called the weekend number. Now if they are to help people with weekened events, why does no one answer!?? If you had a REAL problem what on earth would you do? I explained that Cassie told me if I could not make the event today w/ the weather, I could reschedule for next week and that's what I wanted to do. Will someone be calling me back? I'm certainly not going to show up next week and do it if I won't be paid for it?
Will they give me a new store report form with the new date on it?

Back from Special K - wasn't as bad as I thought, considering how sick I've been, it was pretty much a given that I was going to do my best today & unbook tomorrows event but I decided I'm well enough to do both.. it was kind of dead, but these demos always bring out the people that nit pick the nutritional value of everything - one woman wanted me to tell the company that people don't want high fructose corn syrup in their foods - yeah ok... lady.

I think they greatly over estimated the # of samples we'd need.. I had TONS left over - now if it was Super Walmart I probably would have had only crumbs left but not at Kmart.

Fuel up events for 2/10 and 2/11 are all about 2 hours away from me, so unless they open up the traditional walmarts closer (i have about 15 within 25 miles of my house) I will be sitting this one out.

Not that it matters at this late date but, did anyone get signage for the bean soup/fire roasted tomatoes? It says branded signage on the check off list but there wasn't any in the kit. Both products are Muir Glenn and I know the store has them so I'll just make do with product.

Does it say MC branded signage? Isn't that the "on break" folding card with "no samples to anyone under 14" on the other side? Or sometimes you just end up with allergy warnings sign printed out from your instructions.

I signed up for one of the "Fuel-Up" events but I have no idea what they are!!!
I suppose we'll find out soon enough!!!
