Hey, I just peeled back the label on my misaddressed pear package. It was computer printed with wrong address. Correction label was hand printed. Checked my profile on ebooking. Still has the right address for home & mail. I haven't moved or anything in 13 yrs.

Wonder if this is MC/agency screw up or Fedex?

Guess I'll be shooting an email to Daniel??? Don't want my paychecks or future kits getting lost in the mail....especially with holiday mailing picking up soon.

sigh....if its not one thing, its another with them lately.

Hmmm, somehow I missed them then. I checked Orlando first, nothing, then I checked every town listed, just in case it's not really Orlando. lol Either way, wow, you guys sure have ALOT of events available in FL. LUCKY!!!!!

It looks like some of FL have a lot of Wine Events, Mostly in Publix... Must be nice, I didn't see any wine events for me in Georgia.... Oh well... I guess I have enough to keep me busy.....

Oh, well. That is a great weekend for events here - too much to choose from, and nothing for me since I'll be out of town for a few days.

and these are all listed under "Orlando" ??? I wonder if they limit what you can see if you don't live anywhere near there. I just see Walmart in Orlando. I even just edited profile to include all those languages that I don't speak, lol, & still can't see convention center events. oh well.

Yes, just under Orlando! I don't think I even saw any Wal Mart ones, so that is odd. There were some Target, some convention center, I think an ABC or Publix or both for wine.

I debated on the ABC wine ones, but I don't like the thought of being in a liquor store that late with my laptop.

I booked a Tassimo about 1 1/2 hours from my house. I just like doing those Tassimo events. Maybe they'll have the choxie's this time, too.

Looks like state of MA (SPI) has a new staffing co-ordinator, Daniel Arruda. Not Vanessa anymore.

However, Daniel was trying to sent list of available events....and there was no attachment. sigh. Think I should bug him right away about my ADP problem, so let him settle in. Poor guy.

Ya know, their computer system is really weird. We see different events; my kit mailed to some weird address; unauthorized to view my payroll. All I still see is 3 different Walmarts in Orlando for Lance Cape Cod chips. We are both SPI, right? Oh well. Just wonder if it prevents anyone from booking events in their state or a neighboring state.

Oh...I hadn't even thought of laptop in liquor store late at night. Good point if booking in some areas. I don't have a laptop, so no problem there. lol

I did receive a mass mailing from him just now about open events for tomorrow & Sunday. It says if you book online or call him, you WILL receive a kit in time. Now, that I would love to see.

I will say this about him. At least his emails have correct grammar & spelling. Not like some others I receive from them. (but I shouldn't speak, I make lots of those when typing). Maybe he'll be able to help me thru all my problems after all.

woohoo another event popped up for dec. 16th for kmart, some holiday cheer or something or other, thats the weekend before I leave and am pumped that i can get a ocuple of 4 hour events in to make some $$$

Just Pear tomorrow at SuperWalmart & Suave/Lipton Tea on 12/9 at Kmart. I had cancelled my Tassimo a couple of wks ago.

I'm passing on the Dec Tassimo also; and all the wine stuff in state due to distance or no laptop.

Think that's all we've got here for choices. Oh & the Holiday Essentials at Kmart also not any where near me.

Dodukes, you were the person that was audited during Tassimo, and the auditor said you weren't there, right? How did that all work out? Obviously you are still working. I've been meaning to ask since they seemed to just take the auditors word before even asking you anything.

LOL, I thought this pear event was gonna be a piece of cake. I'm not a pear buyer or eater at all. Little did I know I was going to have to learn how to tell when they are ripe, & about all the different kinds. Hey, at least I got an education out of it. lol

I actually had to make little notes on the side of that glossy pear chart about each flavor. And I'm putting it in a sheet protector, since it's sounds like we'll be juicy, sticky & turning brown.

I'm bringing a small bottle of water to have handy to wet napkins to wipe off the cutting board & stuff. Learned that on last cooking demo -- it would have come in handy; and I think it will on this one.

Hey anyone notice we weren't supplied with gloves, yet we need to bring them. Good thing I've got that bag of gloves from the dollar store. I think I'll be going thru them tomorrow.

I'm bringing a knife too, just in case the slicer doesn't co-operate well. I've used one before on apples & it gave me some trouble. Not sure if they are any better on pears. Better safe than sorry. I sure hope the produce manager has those "ripened" boxes put aside. DH explained to me what a unripened pear tastes & feels like. Don't want to be sampling out those.

I think I'm done reading everything. Off to go pack. Hope my brain retains all this by tomorrow.

Oh & GOTTA REMEMBER to fill out 2 FORMS AT STORE & GET BOTH SIGNED. Don't want to be driving back 45 minutes each way for a missing sig.

I thought I'd check in and update you guys on the Health Department Inspector situation from last weekend.

There's really nothing new to report. Sunday night I emailed Robin with SPi. Since Vanesa was my coordinator until 2 weeks ago, I copied her on the email too. No response.

Tuesday I left Robin a voice mail. Still no response.

Today I called the lady with the Health Department. She said they have been leaving Robin voice mails this week too. No response. Today they mailed her a copy of the regulations.

She said these are County regulations, not State. SPi is supposed to pay the Health Department $10 prior to each Demo, plus call ahead to schedule an inspection of our event table.

Do ya'll think that's going to happen??? Me either.

The sad thing is that SPi is still posting events and someone out there is snatching them up. Now that the Inspector knows what's up, he's going to be watching for them this weekend and will shut them down.

Shoot. I guess my demo days are on hold for awhile.
