That means you clicked a button that said "Book Event for __", so you get $8 less. You do the event on the day you scheduled it for.

Also, are we to supply our own black apron or will one be sent? Thanks soooooo much!

They sent them to me about a week before they sent my MC card.

Unfortuantly NO.. Nothing you buy at the store or receive in the kits (apart from spoons, forks, napkins cups) are to be taken from the store.

Usually if the vendor cancels the event it will automatically unbook. Are you sure you didn't accidently hit unbook (maybe trying to download the forms?)

I would call your coordinator for clarification.

My Scrubbing Bubbles is not unbooked. But I had that happen to me a few times last year. Never found out why, other than they said computer glitch. I saw the events were available to be booked again, so I simply rebooked them. If they were cancelled, they wouldn't be listed as available.

Ok what was I thinking when I booked Kellogs Feb 4? Hmm let me think just another Sunday right. Who would have thought the Bears would actually be in THE SUPERBOWL. How fast do you think I can clean up and be home in front of the TV? The ST should be really crowded that day. Maybe I'll run out of samples and get to leave early?

Oh no, my event got unbooked too, i will send an email tomorrow about it. That suck i was all pumped that i had gotten 3 events this year already, back down to 2 i guess. Did my first one of the year today and ran out of samples with an hour left. Also met someone from promoworks, another demo lady.

Does anyone have any experience with PromoWorks? A lady stopped by my table today, said she was a supervisor with a local agency that is with PromoWorks. She was there to audit one of her employees. She left her phone number and asked me to call her.

Did the Emerald Nuts today at ST. There were 4 types of nuts I was supposed to buy, but only one on the shelf! Plus only five packages of that one. Luckily they had one of the alternates, but only 10. The product sold out pretty quickly.
The grocery manager told me that he can't stock the nuts, that the Emerald rep does that. So he was very frustrated that they didn't have enough product to support my demo. So now I know it isn't always the store's fault that they don't have the product!

I have been sifting through this thread for a few days now. Lots of good info and tips.

Question though: Is there a way to apply by phone? What if you don't have internet access?
I am asking because a neighbor of mine, well this type of job would be great for her (DD has autism and so neighbor is at school a lot, dr. appts, etc.) She really needs something flexible. Her PT job has been cut to 4 hours a week.......not good. (she works at a fast food place)

So I guess I am just looking to see if she could apply over phone, take jobs over phone etc.
They don't have a computer.

Also, where do you find more info on merchandising jobs? Such as stocking cards, magazines, make-up.

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. I usually check a couple times a day. One minute they are there and then whalla there they are.

My husband's Scrubbing Bubbles event is showing unbooked by you. He did not unbook it. Now the event at his selected store comes up available on the same date. What's up with that. We e-mailed Taylor at spi.

1) Event was cancelled by vendor (comes up "UNBOOKED BY YOU" but you will get an email from your Coordinator saying it was cancelled)

2) It was a Mass Connections Computer glitch (I had this happen to me)

3) You accidently hit UNBOOK when trying to access your event form

4) You unbooked it on purpose.

I would try re-booking it if it comes up available.

Just received an email from TMT that the 3/10 Scrubbing Bubbles Event has been cancelled. My events page doesn't show it unbooked yet, but I'm sure it will soon. Guess that's why everybody is finding theirs as unbooked.
