I received my paycheck today from the Pears event. I had totally forgotten about it. I haven't even been looking for events since really slow this month.
COAT: I think Christine (Drgnfly30) was the one with the good idea to stuff your coat into the hollow middle of the table when assembing it.
And whoever was looking for my
list of stuff in my bag.... who the heck knows what post that was on, but I'll do my best to re-create here.
My current bag of choice is a cute little tote bag I picked up at Michael's for about $5.99 when I was there replacing the apron I burned while ironing. Its a canvas tote bag (natural color) with black bottom & black stap handles. It measures 11.5" wide by 10.5" high. I LOVE IT. I put some black super strong sticking velcro in the top to close it if I want. The bag stands up on its own with its flat bottom & fits nicely in the bottom of our tables.
I've reduced to just this & its working nicely:
event instructions & forms
coin purse w/ just some $, license, ATM card, credit card,
AAA card.....
water bottle & a granola bar
cell phone
car keys on a caribiner hooked on bag strap
MC card (CUTE atm card sleeve on a key chain thingy hooked on the bag strap - LOVE it...no more looking for card)
scotch tape to attach signs or posters
nite light for testing outlets (the thin glo in the dark kind -- no bulb to break)
hand sanitizer (small)
baby powder (small; put a bit on hands before putting on gloves)
small makeup case w/ personal items (tissues, breathe strips (no gum chewing), comb, lip balm, a few advil...)
plastic envelope thingy w/ some post-its, index cards for signs, sharpy, pens, and a index card with all contact info for agency & SPI....address, all phone #'s & extenstions, emails....because someone's customer had an accident & had to do insurance forms)
In my table kit, I toss in hat, apron, CHEAP trash bags, extra gloves from Dollar Store (I actually like these better than the ones they send), & the cardboard trash can.
And when needed, I toss in: hair net, extension cord & adaptor for converting 3 prongs to 2 prongs, duct tape, cutting board, a round gold plastic tray, black dollar store basket for napkins & plastic utensils, cooking utensils....
That's all I can think of. Hope that helps.
