I love the look of white slipcovers with the very casual fit. And, I think I've got the sewing expertise to make them. (I know I've got half a bolt of fabric from the resale shop for $3 to do a trial run).

The local fabric store wants $14.95 for their off white cotton blend in the 54" wide. That's going to really add up.

Any ideas about where I could find the fabric for this look at a bargain price?

This may be too lightweight, but Warehouse Fabrics Inc. has 50% cotton/50% poly white sheeting in 90" and 108" widths for $3.98/$4.98 yd. You might want to order one yard to see if it suits your purposes.

Here's a link: Warehouse Fabrics Inc.

I recently purchased tapestry fabric from them for my kitchen chairs and barstools for $10/yd. Joann's had the identical fabric for $30/yd. :cool1:
