Want to book at 7 months for Sept 30th. When can I do this?

I think perhaps I should have waited until tomorrow. I have just rung MS to be told that I could not book it yet. So, please tell me, when does the 7 month window open for September 30, October 1 and 2?

The 7 month window for 9/30 will open tomorrow (3/1).

I think Wednesday October 2nd, because I think tomorrow - March 1st would be for reservations beginning on September 29 since DVC member site is today showing that non-home resort reservations can be made today for stays beginning on September 28 but I think I may be wrong in thinking this because what would make more sense is that tomorrow on March 1st the window would open for both September 29 and 30 since window for October 1 will open as well. Probably best to call MS again just to confirm. I am surprised that MS CM did not tell you what day to call back, that would have been better customer service on their part.

Yes so it seems !!

Something just occurred to me, you could 'walk' the reservation by calling today to book your stay to begin on Sept. 28th then call MS back tomorrow to drop off 28th and 29th.

I tried booking for September 30th today and MS told me I could only book tomorrow. She said they would be really busy tomorrow because they would be booking for September 29th, 30th and October 1st.

I was on the phone with MS about this very issue. For arrival on September 29, call March 1st. There is some question about a September 30th arrival. The system MAY not allow calls for this date until March 2. This is from MS. But your best bet would be to call March 1 for September 30 and see what happens. That is also from MS.

The new system has not yet had to deal with a February for which you automatically get three arrival dates to book as soon as you turn over to March 1. I assume they have it set up to do Sep 29, 30 and Oct 1 starting tomorrow. I cannot imagine the anger that would be generated if you could not do Sep 30 arrival until Wednesday but could do Oct 1 tomorrow. Nevertheless, knowing Disney and its history with computer systems, they have probably worked very hard in the last few months to make sure it is entirely screwed up.

I checked earlier with MS and you can book a September 30th arrival date vacation today.
