Want to become a DC member?

I have seen on other posts were people talk about the Disney Club. Well I am wanting to become a member. I got on to disney.com and could not find a thing that says Disney Club for $39.95.
Maybe it is late and I am tired, not for sure but can someone help me find where I need to be?

The Disney Club no longer exists. It's been gone for a couple of years?? Maybe three??

It ended back in 2002 and was replaces with the Disney Visa *grumbles* dumb move in my opinion.

You may be seeing references to the Disney Vacation Club. This is Disney's version of timeshares.

When I originally started working, there was a brochure in all of my orientation materials to join the "Disney Club"-- I didn't join being that I had absolutely no plans to go to Disney (and I hadn't been there in years)...

...I believe Disney "Replaced" it with the Bank One Disney Credit Card.

Unfortunately, if it is a reference to Disney Vacation Club, it won't be $39.95 (Wouldn't that be great??!!)

Replacing the old Disney Club with the Disney Visa was a joke (very mis-leading of Disney to ever indicate that the Disney Visa was replacing the old Disney Club).

I would have been more impressed if Disney had just said something to the effect of
"We are eliminating the Disney Club because we do not need to offer those discounts, to get the business of the people who are using those discounts".

I admire blunt honesty.
But I lack tact, so I will never work in customer relations.

As far as my Disney Visa goes, I have NEVER used it.
It is not worth the trouble to keep with me, so when I hit those rare cases, where I need a Visa, I don't have my Disney Visa with me.
