Wanna See Something That Will Make WDW Folks Jealous?

The ride looks awesome & i'm planning to go back to DLR in 2015 or so to check out the new Fantasyland, World of Color & the new Land. I am very much looking forward to going back to the West Coast & hopefully this time being lucky enough to stay at Disneyland Hotel. But the fact remains, this is using the Test Track technology so what is stopping the new Test Track from offering a similar ride experience? I don't mean racing the vehicles but something at least comparable using the existing ride building of Test Track.

I for one can't wait until November to see the finished product & the new & hopefully vastly improved Test Track. Seeing what DCA did with this, who knows what amazing attraction could be coming our way this year.

I'll get to ride it in a week! Its based on Test Track technology but I've never ridden it so far; will get my first opportunity to ride Test Track this winter and compare.

They did amazing with this....the waterfall was beautiful!

40 MPH is the figure I have heard. I did notice that this "race" is shorter than the "speed test" at the old TT though. TT's is over a minute, but this one is only 35 seconds. On the other hand, in my opinion, much better theming on RSR.

Watching this video of Test Track, the "fast outdoor part" is only about 48s (4:30 is the first acceleration and it really slows down at 5:18), so they're not that far apart.

Had contemplated heading out to DL for a trip this late August, but watching this isn't make me feel it's a must do. PRetty cool ride, though.

Cars was my dd's first real Disney obsession....we saw the movie SEVEN times the summer it was at the theater. Had we been able to ride something like this at the peak of her obsession, my heart might have exploded.

I can't wait till we can make it there...we WILL see this one day, They did an AMAZING job with the details and theme. Who gives a crap if it's "test track" based - it's isn't the track that makes this thing such a huge WIN. I WISH Walt Disney World could get this kind of attention...instead of copied rides from DL and doubled up-existing attractions. When you start to compare what DL gets and what WDW gets you see how much FL gets the shaft.
