Hey! I really want to audition for entertainment...specifically face, but my nose is kind of big. Is that an automatic no?

My S was a CP in spr 2011. He decided to audition for character performer last month. Since he was not a theater major and admitted he was horrible.

If you are going to go to a CP audition, it doesn't matter. You don't go to those with the intention of auditioning for any subset of "character performer".

go with the intention of being a character performer. they will pick those they feel could be face characters.
