Wand coming down (pics)

The hat at MGM most likely never come down due to contract issue with a certain building owner. As of today or actually July 14th at about 10:00am the letter E and the wand are still on SSE.

Do the "Leave a Legacy" monuments actually have to remain just as they are now for thirteen more years, or do they simply have to be displayed somewhere in WDW for that period? I was never clear on this.

Those displays never bothered me quite so much as the Wand and Hat but I would much prefer they be removed.

I dunno the exact terms of the contract, but in Deb Will's last weekly e-mail somebody reported that they had made an inquiry about the status of their Leave a Legacy plaque and they were told by e-mail from Disney they were staying until 2020. I didn't keep the e-mail but as I read it that meant staying where they are now.

The VERY BEST (and only) thing about the wand coming down is I will no longer have to read the whining that it is there.
