Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Hey Warriors!

TRACY--I am working on an end of the year race. As soon as I find the right one, I will post. LOVE the idea!

Sunday = 90 minutes of strength and core
Monday = 30 minutes of strength
Tuesday = 4 miles, with streching, etc. 55 minutes
Wednesday = 6 miles, with stretching, etc. 75 minutes

Tomorrow is my biking day...time to rack up some miles! And Friday I may try for a 10-miler, depending on how I feel. The 8.5 mile I did last week felt great! No pain, no fatigue...so I am hoping for another great long run this week.

Who has a marathon countdown going? It is getting close!

Evening Warriors!

4.5 miles in 58 minutes for me tonight. It was an awesome run being pulled by my dog, Porter! He's such a good boy!!!:thumbsup2

Great job on all these end of year races!

Erika - I think it' ~52 days. :scared1: Times liek this that i hate my countdown timer. Yay fro WDW, but :scared1: for marathon.

I did 3.6 miles last night in 40 min. Not bad for a first run back.

I did 5 MILES today, why 5 when I only had to do 4?? I did one for the team!!! No need to mention the Canes Football Game watching party tonight!

So time was 1hour 13min 10sec. 5 min cooldon. I was a nice and chilly (for me) 55 degrees!!!!!
I hope to get out and wash the car, vacuum and maybe wax. I will post my time for that once to sun is out a bit more and it gets in the 70s.

Today is my day off so I have a "to-do" list to try and get through.
*1 month and 3 weeks until Marathon weekend!!*
*50 sleeps until the Circle of Life 5K!!*

Have a great Thursday Warriors!!
Tracy

OK I'm back - I did 1 hour of washing and vacuuming the car. DIdn't get to wax it today.

I have some miles to report.

11/14 3.10 mile run 29 minutes
11/17 8.01 mile run 1:15
11/18 7.08 mile run 1:07
11/19 5.10 mile run 47 minutes
11/20 10.02 mile run 1:34

Have a good weekend everyone.:)

Great times, as always, Roxy!

Tracy--still looking for the right race to end out the year.

Today was my cross-train day so I biked it.

17 miles in one hour even. Not a bad pace. :cool1:

I have really been rocking my long runs for the last 3 or 4 in a row and I have another one scheduled for tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed for me that my long runs continue to go well. They used to stress me out terribly...and I don't know what changed, but I sure do like it this way better! :cool1: I am doing 9 miles tomorrow!

It is snowing like a storm right now. I did find a local event for Sunday if I can get myself there and not feel threatened by possible ice.
We are indeed walker / slower runner friendly. To ease the pressure on our volunteers, we keep the course open for only 3 hours, but do have a special start for walkers and slower runners at 8:15am. You will need to average a pace of around 17:30 per mile with the earlier start.

Thanks for your inquiry and I hope to see you on race day!
I'm not exactly committing until I get up on Sunday to see what's outside.

LIly - HOpe it works as it sounds very firendly.

I did 60 min o fyoga last night, as my hammy was telling me not to run. :guilty:

Hey warriors,

Popped to the gym after work- it's freezing here right now so stuck to the treadmill- 6.2miles- 58mins and then 10mins stretching. Will do further 5 mins exercises for my leg later. Week total's a little low: 15.26miles 190mins, sorry

Actually, teh clarification I was givne by Dave is that outdoor stuff counts, but indoor doesn't. :guilty: I guess he's never seen me power clean. ;)
Lots of snow, I shoveled, I did. That counts.

Sorry about being stuck indoors on TMs. Me too. Ugh.

I think shoveling snow counts!!.
I have to report my 3.30 miles this am. 47min 58 min. 5 min cool down.

I waxed the car today. 45 min.

Is everyone looking for a race to do before the end of the year?????

Tracy

I ran 9 miles yesterday (using the run 6/walk 1) in 92 minutes.

I WAS going to do a LR today, but my right knee felt "weird" (for lack of a better term) this morning, so prudence dictated I rest it today. I'll try to go do a long run on Monday instead.

BTW, you Warriors ROCK!!!!!

OK warriors....

TIme is running out for those of you who haven't signed up for a race before the end of the year!! Come on warriors, with everyone's training and miles getting highers, lets add in some more miles and time!! WE CAN DO THIS!!

I did 10.10 miles this morning. 5 min warmup, 10 min cooldown and stretching.

Tracy

Hey Warriors,

I am back from the frozen cold north! :worship: :worship: to ALL of you who keep up the training in cold weather.

I didn't get in much on vacation, but I have a few miles to report.
11/19 4 miles, 46 minutes
11/23 4 miles 49 minutes

I am doing a turkey trot 5K on thursday and my first 1/2 on Sunday (A little taper for me this week). Am also contemplating another 1/2 before disney for the sole reason of the medal being really cool. It is a starfish. And there is free beer at the end.

I haven't caught up with everything yet, but I will!

Today I got in my 7 miles and 104:21 minutes.

I forgot to report my Thursday miles so here it is....3.13 miles and 46 minutes.

My totals for last week are: 15.47 miles and 222:31 minutes.

Tracy, I can't find a local race for slow, old folks around here. Sorry, I wish I was faster but it's not going to happen. LOL

Have a great week Warriors!

Had a nice trip to the gym tonight. Would have been better if I had not lost track of time before hand. I was only left with a little over an hour before the child center closed. Oh well...

30 minutes of weights
32:33 on the treadmill - 2.43 miles

I have miles to report (and on time!)

Sunday- 6 miles in roughly 75 minutes. My mom went to see a ChiRunning coach in Jacksonville because she was so worried about finishing the half. He told her she was a natural (which she loved) but that she might want to start doing more miles. Hello! I've been heckling her about steadily increasing her LRs, but she had to hear it from a coach! ;) The 6 miles we did was her longest run- she was so excited. It was fun to experience that excitement with her...

Amy- I'm cracking up over your cool medal 1/2. I'm signing up for a run in December in Savannah, but am really hostile that we only get a t-shirt. Sure the entry fee is really low, but charge me a few bucks more and give me a medal!!

Jen in GA

A starfish medal??? I'd be all over that!!!

I did 16 Saturday in 3:20. While teh time seems slow, I did it in very-much needed Yak Trax adn 24 degrees. Darn proud of just finishing it after doing a half last SUnday.

Off to tally. The spreadsheet should be good through Ocotober now (yeah, I'm behind, but many Oct #'s cam e in late. That's my story adn I'm stickin' to it. ;) ).

OK, caught up in my spreadsheet. WIll put in online sheet tomorrow.

Barb - Never apologize for being slow. You put the miles in. Plus, around here, the longer oyu take, the more minutes we have. :goodvibes

Kate - Glad you found a solution!!!!

Tracy - WTG on keeping everyone motivated!!! BTW, your last 10.10 run, you gav eme warmup and stretching, but no time for the walk. :rotfl: So something I would do.

Ken - I think I'm still missing the week og 10/17. WTG on gettign those miles up there again! Hope that emans life is a little less crazy!!!

OK, forgive me fro not catching all of you. Time to fix my lunch!
