Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Greetings Everyone: Here's my week mileage totals. 5 days of running and 1 day of x-training for 26.06 miles.

Dave, Good job on the miles there What about the hours?

I've got my weekly report. 7 hours 40 minutes of effort. 12 miles.

I've started my w/o today with a lovely long-ish stroll. At least I'm off to a good start for the week. It is such a lovely weekend I just had to take advantage of it all.

Went to the gym today as so got my cross training miles in. 3.3miles in TM 31mins and 6 miles biking 25mins followed by 10mins stretching phew. I'm now heading into my last week at work before i leave to start a new one :eek: dreading leaving on sunday, it's going to be so sad.

Hello Warriors!

Looks like I missed posting a work out this week. 3.5 miles in 45 minutes on Wednesday and 10.5 miles today in 2:20. I'll be heading back out later for a walk with the running group! I can finally taper now! 2 weeks till DL!:woohoo:
 
Today - 25 mile bike ride in 1:25.. MUCH better than my last one. Still slow as molasses though. I would like to be about 5 minutes quicker over that distance.
 
1.5 mile beach stroll today with DD, about 40 minutes. I put off W5D3 until tomorrow since I have seem to have caught yet another cold. I am catching everything that goes around at work and whatever DD gets. :sick: Ugh. I don't think this one is as bad as the previous 2 colds though.

Looks like they'll most likely be closing schools here on Tuesday (supposed to be the first day for some) unless Fay takes a hard left turn. I am thinking if the schools are closed, DD's daycare will be too.

Just back from a 4-day get-away! Got lots of miles in while away! :cool1: Just need to calculate it all, so I will post later tonight or tomorrow morning. :goodvibes
 
Went back out again tonight for a walk with my running group, so another 2.2 miles in 42 minutes! I actually felt pretty good about my walking since one of the coaches had also done a LR this morning. Instead of just walking, he brought a chair to sit in and a book! :rotfl: At least I walked!

Hey Warriors- no running/walking to report. Used the "we're going to get a lot of rain from Fay" excuse this morning, which is good except I think the rain is coming Wednesday... ;)

Becky- I may take you up on your offer of walking the Race for the Taste, depending on when GoofyBaby makes his appearance. I still think he's coming on Labor Day... (technically due mid Sept but other 2 were early).

Wow, that's an amazing lot of workouts... look at you go on that bike!!!! That's a true warrior- how's your knee holdin out?

Just a 2 mile walk with the residents today, 32 mins. Will run tomorrow AM :)
 
Got in W5D3 tonight..20 minutes, no walk breaks! :eek: :scared1: It did go well though, I covered 1.6 something miles during the 20 minutes. Total distance was 2.4 miles in 35 minutes (includes warm and slow cool down)!

Not much Fay action yet here in Palm Harbor. It looks like we are on the good side of the storm, so we shouldn't get much more than some rain and wind.

Carrie... UPDATE for 8/15

Biking... 11 miles, 85minutes

Tonight, 8/18 was 13 miles on the bike and 1 hr 15 min.

Whew! I'm beat! We hadn't planned on that much, but we got chased by dogs and decided to take a different way home which ended up being a bit longer!

Thanks Carrie! I hope I didn't make this too confusing!

Greetings from Cape Cod, Warriors! I did 2.46 miles in 50 minutes on the sand today. Whew, does that ever work your muscles! I'm afraid my time was terrible because I had to stop for shells along the way.

Sending positive thoughts for all in the path of Fay.

I did 6 miles in about 30 min last night while dh tried out his new bike.
 
Hi Warriors! Finally I have a minute to sit down and calculate my minutes and miles from when I was away--

8/14 = 15 miles bike; 2 mile hike. 2 hours total with strength training and the hike.
8/15 = 6 miles total (run in the morning plus a hike in the afternoon...and those hikes were KILLER hills. A great burn! Some core work as well.) 2 hours total fitness time.
8/16 = 6 miles total, 2 hours total (run, hike, core)
8/18 = 12 mile bike plus back to the gym for some strength training. 90 minutes total.

Today--nothing yet, but I have a run planned, so I will post later tonight.

GREAT job so far you guys! Keep moving!
