Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Happy Tuesday Team!!

FINALLY got the boat to the Marina & have some time of my own again (& I though KIDS took a lot of time!! Sheeesh!).

Miles to report: Yesterday - 3.5 miles in 33:00. Got interrupted by that pesky alarm on the wall & never got to finish.

Today:

29.0 mile bike ride in 1:44, followed by a 4 mile run in 38:52 & a 1 mile "cool" down walk in 17:00. Total for the day: 34 miles in 2:40 total.

Hey all warriros did some light walking tonight. 2.15miles 32min44sec. Some warmdown time 13min 8sec. I am just trying to keep it light this week. I start training for the DL 1/2 next week.
Less than 16 weeks until the DL 1/2 marathon and more bling with extra bling.

Hi Everyone...
I did 2 miles on the TM, 30:10.

Mostly walking, since this is supposed to be a crosstraining day (although I got frustrated when I saw I wasn't going to make 15 minute miles and ran a bit to get it as close as possible:)) I am still in Minnie marathon mode making sure I always do 15 min miles! It's really hard for me to do a low key walk these days.

I haven't really decided what I want to do for X-training yet. Also trying to decide if I should join a gym/YMCA so I would have access to a variety of things to do.

Where do I get warriors image for my sig?

Have a good night!

Warrior Barb checking in! 3 miles and 45 minutes.

Keep up the great work team!!!!!

Hi Team: Just reporting in - 5 miles yesterday in 43:52 min/8:48 mpm. You guys are all doing great, and helping me to keep getting out there.

Sorry it has taken me so long to report from last week. I have been taking some days of work before I start a new job but more about that later.

Last week - 15 miles - 2:30

Hey Warriors!

Forgot to report 2 miles walking with my mom in 33 minutes on Monday.

Did one of those Walk and Firm DVDs for the first time last night- harder than I expected! So an hour Tuesday.

And now I have a cold. Woe is me!

Good evening Warriors!

Got in a good 8 mile ride with some killer hills in and a 1/2 mile swim. 2 hour workout! :cool1: I'll sleep good tonight!

I didn't get any treadmill time yesterday, my BFF from college is coming to visit today for the weekend, so I needed to get the house picked up. I expect to be fully back on track next week! I'll need to be after all calories I am going to consume this weekend from mojitos! :rolleyes1

I live in Palm Harbor on the west coast of FL, and when we went outside this morning, all we could smell was smoke, which I am assuming is from the east coast fires. I am hoping we get some rain this weekend and that everyone who lives over there is safe.

Have a good day everyone!

I got in 30 min of Pilates for DUmmies and 8 min of foam roller stretching.

Go Warriors!!

Thursday, 1 hour Walk and Firm DVD. Finally may be getting over this cold. Still wallowing in self-pity. :rolleyes1

I did do one thing this morning that made me very happy. A bunch of pictures I ordered from the Minnie weekend just arrived. I ordered a couple of extras for the elusive running scrapbook (everything is stacked up reasonably tidy but I can't find a book I like!) Anyway, I ordered a 5x7 of me and Becky with Mulan and Mushu. I was just sitting here thinking "this memory shouldn't have to go in a big stack somewhere!" so I stuck it on my bulletin board. :goodvibes

I did 30 minutes of swimming yesterday.

Jen, I just ordered the pics too! I can't wait for them to come!!

Jen - Glad you kept a memory out where you can see it. I have to call and get a few pix added adn tehn will get teh CD> I am an addict!

OK, did my 75 min of intermediate youga last night. Feeling it today.

I did a 40 minrun Thursday, but forgot to look at my miles. Or, well, I was slow and didn't want to see. Part of teh slowness was from a trail run. I thinkI'll just continue to tell myself it lost signal somewhere. ;)

Hi. Sneaking in here, since I haven't been keeping up on my training much lately.

I could use a boost right about now. I really want to get out there and run (well, mostly walk at this point, but my goal is to actually run more than walk), but every day that's not raining manages to have some other "priority" that seems to take over. The thing is, I really want to run, so then I feel guilty too on top of not getting out there.

I've had a lot going on with stuff for the kid's school (I do a lot of volunteering - probably too much). I also just fininshed my first grad class a week ago, which ended up taking up more time than I thought it would. I'm glad I did it, since it will eventually lead to a new career path for me. I don't know, I'm just feeling down lately.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on.

I guess I don't have any miles to add to the team total this week, although if you're counting heavy yard work I pulled about 6 hours last weekend (mowing, raking new mulch, weeding, yuck, lol.) Carrie, if you think it's better for me to drop off of the list until I can get out there on a more regular basis then I can do that. (I'm not sure how the whole "substitute" thing works.) I hate to think that I'm taking up a spot that someone who can contribute more could have.

I hope everyone has a good weekend :)

Sneaking in here too...:tiptoe:

I will be back after next week and pledge to get here more. I know you are all doing your best and for that you should be proud!

Keep at it Warriors!

Hi everyone... Count me in for sneaking in - it's been a tough week, a lot going on family wise, my grandmother, aunt, and uncle lost their house in the Palm Bay fires, they all got out, and got all the animals out too - so we are very greatful for that. My parents actually just got back from driving down there to pick up Gram to come and stay up here - easier for everyone all around - so a lot of back and forth/etc.... she is staying with us....

Anyways, we did manage to get some training in for the week:

me - 75 minutes, 1.76 miles

Jeff - 75 minutes, 8.1 miles (this is what I know he did, I'll ask him to verify and adjust if need be)

Happy weekend to all!
