Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

:sad2: Sorry Carrie... My miles before Sat.
5.11 and time was 1 hour 12 min.
I Hope I got that right, then I will report Sat-Fri on Fri. Thanks

Perfect! No problem at all! You can report totals or you can report day by day and I'll total them. Whatever's easiest for you!

ROxy - I did a hill porgram once. I made it for 20 of my 40 minutes. Darn proud of that 20 minutes, but just had to stop. I keopt picturing the face of the guy next to me when that bronco finally bucked me off! ;) OCngrats on your workout!

Jim - Ahhhh...Those wonderful lessons our bodies give us. They really do stick for a long time. The Chi guy says there are no bad runs, as you can always learn something. While I disagree on verbage, sometimes we need those lessons so we don't foget, especially race day. SOrry it was not a fun ride!

Cari - How's i miss oyour post earlier? :confused3 Glad you're on teh wagon again! Hope you're body is kind this week!

Jeff - Good luck on this first good week! I think winter's killing us most of us northerners.

Heather - :cheer2: Kicking up the mileage, way to go!

Barb - You're sticking to the plan and you will make it!!!! No need to worry, you're a pro! FYI - I just had to buy a Tink "Believe" vest when they were on sale at disneyshooping.com. ;)

OK, gave the whole story on teh weekly thread, but I'll repeat myself here, as Ilike to hear myself talk. ;)

DH had achilles issues last night adn I think I pulled somethign cleaning, sowe decided we needed a night away from running. However, due to our temas competition, I didn't slack. I got out a yoga video adn we bothe did that fo 50 minutes. And, we both felt better when done. I am so proud of myself, but it's not really me, it's the teams competition. Still, it's workign for me.

Hello all, it's a very windy:crazy2: day here in Pembroke Pines FL.
Temp this morning during my biking/walking was 76. I know all the northerners aren't happy with those of us down in the southern states.:beach:
But, I figured that I can get more exerccising in now while some are not able to. When its hotter here, you all may be able to get more in than me. SO, it all works all and better for the team!!:dance3:
Sat: 4 miles, 56min:36sec walking
Sun: 5 miles, 1hr:17min:6sec walking
Tues: 1.96 miles, 14min:02sec biking to park
3.10 miles, 43min:28sec Racewalking at park
1.73 miles, 13min:47sec Biking back home

I'm hoping that by adding the bike ride to the park it will help to add up, plus it saves on gas.
Go Team!!
I'm off from work today, so off I go to do some chores around the house.

Tracy

Well, FINALLY we have a decent day here (and by decent, I mean actually above freezing and the SUN was out for a while this morning). I was feeling pretty down on myself when I got up this morning (due to not seeing the scale move despite doing everything right...staying on my food program, drinking tons of water, working out 5x/week...and no loss for 4 weeks in a row...). So I was thinking about bagging my workout for the day.

But when I saw how nice it was out...well, that did it for me. I pointed my car to the beach (just a couple of miles away...I live in a coastal community ) and ran outside along the ocean (no...lol...not in the sand. I am not nearly that hard core...there is a nice paved path). It did a WORLD of good for me to be outside with that fresh sea air and the crash of the surf... I did 2.8 miles which was fine with me...it improved my attitude and that is more important these days, I think.

So...2.8 miles, 33 minutes (there was a pretty good wind coming off the water).

I am going to try to get in an exercise tape workout in later in the day, so I hope to come back and post again.

Hey there folks!!!

I just wanted to report I did 6 miles on the bike and the pilates for dummies DVD last night...total workout time was 55 min.

Stacie

5 miles 48 minutes
1 hour 50/50 class
Great Job everyone WE ROCK!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

ROXY: Thanks for the welcome!

Windwalker: Thanks!for taking away the wheels:rolleyes: I hate walking up all those stairs to my trailer on the top, but then again it counts as exercise time and miles, so in a way it's helpful!!:rotfl2:

Go Team, Walt's Warriors are awesome!!!!!

Tracy

WWDave, I thought you were supposed to be taking it easy doing a lot of Resting, Relaxing and Recovering. Not removing wheels.

3DISNEYKIDS, Good for you getting outside.

ROXY, Roxanne—Good job!

DSNYFAN21, Tracy, good idea working in the bike to/from the park.

Wtpclc, Captain Carrie, good for you getting the Yoga and knowing when to rest not run.

Having the team challenge has gotten me up and moving too! I did TM today and some stretching.

Good Morning Team!!

A bright, sunny COOL morning in sunny St Augustine.

It was about 55º when I went running today. Such a pretty day I did not even wear a shirt.

For the 1st time in a long time I ran w/my mp3 player plugged into my skull, just ran easy, listened to music & did not worry about pace or distance, just getting creamed by crazy drivers.

When it was all done I had completed 8.3 miles in 1:18:00

Hope everyone is doing great. Keep the aches, pains, bumps & injuries to a minimum.

Hey hey,

Popped out for a 2.5mile run in a little bit of sleet!!!! When oh when are we going to get snow?!!?!? Took 25mins and 5 mins stretch afterwards, totalling 30mins.

Have to admit really didn't want to go, night shifts make me feel a bit sick but i think it's just tiredness. Off to work in couple of hours, fingers crossed wake up a bit by then

1:40 minutes strength training with trainer
1:40 10.01 mile run

Got back from doctor. The mri shows the cyst is wrapped around the whole ligament on the top of my foot. Good news it is not in the ligament:thumbsup2 . Now for the bad news it has to come out. I will be down for maybe three weeks. Mri says possible synovial sarcoma. The odds of that are extremely low I mean really low. They just want to get it and know what it is me too. So although I may not contribute to the miles or time after friday the 14th for a few weeks. I will be with you all in spirit. Go Team!!!:thumbsup2

ROXY: Sorry to hear about your upcoming foot surgery:sad1: . I had to have toe surgery (chilectomy on Right big toe, I have degenerative osteoarthritis in the main joint in my big toe) and that put me out for about 3 to 4 weeks. Just be good to yourself. Remember, Elevate and Ice. Feet swell alot after some surgeries.

Good thoughts go your way!!

Tracy

Roxy, sorry to hear that you have to have surgery! :grouphug:
Ditto what tracy said, make sure you take care of yourself!!!
