We are heading to DLP in less than a month for our Honeymoon!!! We have our reservations at Bistrot Chez Remy already (definite must do) and we booked Walt's (but are having seconds thoughts). We have a Half Board Plus plan (included with our package at NPB) and I know Walt's is Premium so isn't included and Silver Spurs is (I would say this is "once in a lifetime trip to DLP") I have also heard very mixed things about Walts and nothing on the menu is screaming at me must eat, while that Pistachio Salmon (at Silver Spurs) is whispering sweet nothings in my ear. We definitely want an in park restaurant at DL (so Disney Village restaurants are kind of "out")

So in conclusion. Which is "better" Silver Spurs or Walt's (I know they are completely different) and another note would we be able to just go into Walt's to look around if we don't eat there?

It has been 5 or 6 years since I ate at Walts, but I enjoyed my meal at the time. We ate at Silver Spur last year, and loved it. It was one of the best meals we had last year. I really enjoyed the salmon.

This is not going to help, but we really enjoyed Walts when we there over Halloween, which we thought was better than Remy, which was also really good. Mrs Londontime wants to go for her birthday the week after next....I had the Burger with Chilli, and DW had Lobster Bisque which was very good and the Filet. I'm pretty sure I had a tarte tartin which was excellent, unless I'm mixing up with another restaurant. Its really expensive though, but if you get a good Main St view which we did, its lovely.

I think you can go into the wait lobby at Walt's to look at the memoribilia, unless its busy. .

Sorry never been to Silver Spur but I've heard really good things.

We had our first trip last October and I wasn't overly impressed with walts in any way and it's very expensive. We did it for the experience but I wouldn't go there again. But I'm glad we did it once.
