Maybe everyone already knew this but I thought that the cursive Walt Disney part of the WDW logo was the way Walt Disney really signed his name. But then I got my Disney magazine and there was something with Disney memerobilia for sale and one thing was something with Walt's signature and it is not the same as the one in the WDW logo. I just thought it was interesting.

The story behind Walt Disney's signature is an interesting one. Phil Sears ( www.phil-sears.com ), a noted expert on Walt Disney autographs has this FAQ that will help clear things up for you.

Note that Walt's real signature only slightly resembles the 'official' Walt Disney script that some of his staff were authorized to use.
