Hi guys,

I wondered - does anyone have any pictures from the interior of Walts? I'm trying to decide between here and Blue Lagoon to surprise my mum with...

Also, are you allowed to choose which room you go in, and which one would you guys recommend if this is possible?

Oh and is there any particular dish you would recommend?

Thanks guys!! :goodvibes

I would recommend the Walt's. We have been there 4 times and have been in Adventureland, Mainstreet and Discoveryland. I can't name a favourite!

This is Mainstreet. The room is nothing special but you have a great view to Mainstreet and it is great to say the "live" outsight while you eat!

This could be your view:

Frontierland (never eaten there, I just took a picture of the empty room!)

Adventureland

You can ask for a room, but it is hard to get a table at Fantasyland and A.L. because they first fill the rooms wich are on the Mainstreet side (MS, DL and Frontierland). But it is always worth asking.

I have been in Main Street and Discovery land, I would prefer Main Street, we had a table near the window and it was lovely to watch out of it while waiting for our food especially as it was Christmas so we could see the snow and the decorations.

The Discovery land room was a bit like a tribute to Vernes and da vinci, my dd enjoyed the pictures on the wall, we had a window seat that looked over a side street.

wow, looks amazing!

Is it romantic? enough to be a date night place?

Im looking for somewhere to take DBF! :lovestruc

I would definitely choose Walts over Blue Lagoon. If you an get a window table (go in earlier and request one, or be prepared to wait around a little while, it's worth it) the view from Walts is great. Blue Lagoon is lovely by the water but to be honest it's so dark that you can't actually see very much on the water. And the food is much better in Walts IMO.

I have been to the Blue Bayoou (sp?) in California, and really didn't like it. So i have been put off meals in Pirates for life!!

I know its bad, but i would prefer a bit of variety!

When are you going tinkerbell36?
I've not eaten at either, but I don't think the food can dissappoint at Walt's, unlike stories of BL....:-(

I always wanted to eat at blue lagoon, but the reviews and comments on here have made me decide on Walt's for my first evening meal.

If I have an 8pm reservation and show up at 7.45 will that:
a - be early enough to wait for a main street view?
b - mean i'm out for 9.30 ish or a good time to get ready for fantillusion??

Depends if others already are seated at window tables or have requested to wait for them. :confused3 Perhaps pop in earlier in the day and mention how you'd like a window table rather than leaving it until you arrive at 7.45pm, especially since 8pm is quite a busy time for dining.

:wizard: :wizard: that you get one, if not I'm sure you'll still have a marvellous time.

And yes, you'd be out in plenty of time for Fantillusion. :)

Ate at Walt's today. We were at a window on Mainstreet. I made no special request and that's what we got. The food was great! Ate at Blue Lagoon yesterday and it was okay, but nothing special.
