I can't wait to see this show! I saw a preview in Disney Magizine and it looked so good. Now its here!

Brad

Check it out tonight on The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC. It is going to be narrated by Dick Van ****.

I can't wait to see this! I hope I don't forget!

I've never wished I lived in America so much!!

Is this the same film that's going to be shown at the Walt exhibition in Disney Studios, or have I just got my wires well and truly crossed?

This one is going to be different from the one at Walt Disney Studios Florida. The one in Florida is an exhibit but has some film snippets of Walt.

I just watched Walt: The Man Behind the Myth.....I have never cried so much for any movie since the last time I watched Bambi......:( .

I had a number of mixed emotions when watching the film. The new monologue by Michael Eisner was a very nice gester with the recent attack on our nation on September 11th, 2001. The commercial by the Walt Disney Company was very patriotic by a company that has been criticized by many a people.

The film itself was nicely done. There were mixed emotions at the beginning especially the scene which showed the animators strike right after completion of Bambi in 1940/1941. How could they do that to the man who made them famous? The union leader himself was just a jack****. Sorry but my emotions are welled up. I was filled with just complete saddness when they showed Walt talking about Disneyland, at the Disneyland dedication, and his complete conscentration on Walt Disney World and EPCOT.

The end of Walt's life in the show brought me to complete tears. If it wasn't bad enough Disney had to show a emotional tribute to the rescuers and victims of the WTC attack...... only Disney could bring me to tears like that. :( I was a bit disappointed with no footage of the 100 Years of Magic Celebration but I guess with the tragic attack, it was all well in good.

Walt.....if you can hear us.....THANKS!!

Ladies and Gentlemen....I would like to ask you to add your opinions on the show and showcase any pictures of Walt Disney or his famous creations here on this thread.

I watched it moose......I wish I had taped it. It was inspiring! I have even more incentive to reach my dream job of imagineer!

I can't believe it, but I missed it!! I wanted to see it, but we had rented the Mexican the other day, and it had to go back last night, so we watched that. When I realized that we had missed it, I was so sad :( I'm sure they'll have it on sooner or later. I have a question too. How come some Sunday's they have the Wonderful World of Disney, and some they have the ABC Picture Show?

I LOVED it!!! :D :D

I taped it b/c my mom wasnt here for the beginning...yes I cried when they talked about Walt's death...with the tradegy last tuesday anything involving death makes me and/or makes me cry.

kiki-actually I THINK they are 2 different things...WWoD is on from 6-8 and then picture show is form 8-10...can someone vairy this for me?

I think you're right Juliana... the WOnderful World of Disney is 7-9 EST and the ABC Big Picture show is 9-11 EST...

I REALLY liked the movie! I thought it was really interesting! I think I would've liked it better if it had more about WDW and what happened after Walt's death, but I still really liked it!
